It probably depends on trades I would think, 2 and under I wouldn't, 4 + I would and 3 is just painful :P

No. If they are not match fit and still rusty then you dont play them

If you have a starting player who's at 80% and the 20% they're missing is mainly match time and game sense you would play them every day of the week over a fringe player who might be 100% of their ability, but their ability is not as good as your starting player.

Well hibberd likely to miss weeks then when he comes back will be rusty again. So dont see the point in keeping him. Will need a  few games to find his feet and get his fitness back

No offense but this is Shane Mumford all over again, I can't find anywhere suggesting Hibberd will miss future games, he's got a week off due to the split round anyway... If you've got tons of trades then go for it if you want but in my position he can be D7 if he's truly terrible. In hindsight I should have used him for the loophole but I put him on field, oh well.
