Like I said agree to disagree ;D Fletch will be gone soon. Hooker Carlisle and Hurley would be an awesome trio of tall backs.

But ur right Bomber will keep playing him fwd cos he's stubborn. And it hasn't worked apart from the last few weeks.

Fletch more likely than Pears to remain at Essendon next year.

And then if we do that in the near future we won't be able to kick more than 8-10 goals per game, like we did earlier in the year when Carlisle and Hurley both played back.

I like it when we win and results indicate we are better when one of Carlisle/Hurley plays forward, otherwise we need to trade aggressively to get one of the GWS talls because a forward line of Bellchambers/Daniher and Ambrose as the 3 talls won't kick more than 10 goals a game against the better sides.

His next three games as well. Swans, Tigers and Eagles.

if you haven't already got him, I wouldn't risk it now - the price is no longer right and trades (are likely to be) at a premium ...

Dont see him playing forward against the Swans

Big call given how well he has been going as a fwd! I tend to agree though.

He'll be up and down, certainly wouldn't go chasing his points though.

To add to the discussiom above, I like Ryder as our number one ruck, Daniher in a few years will be a great FF/ pinch hitter. Carlisle CHF and floating back taking marks when needed. Ambrose looks like he'll develop into a good 3rd tall. Hurley and Hooker in defence, but a 3rd defender is what we're lacking with Fletchers age now (trade Belly?). Hope Pears comes good. You have to remember Hurley was drafted as a defender, whereas Carlisle was drafted as a CHF. His clean hands when marking are too good not to have in the front half, and he's generally a great kick for goal too (but went down with his confindence drop this year).

Totally agree with all that you have said.

dont chase the points, its not the time in the year to chase a price rise either.

I cant see him going big on Syndney at all. They are a quality outfit they will shut him down and I expect sub 80.

just asking for trouble in my opinion, pay up fro a proven premo unless your seriously desperate.

I'm sure 8 goals will make teams pay some more attention  ::)

He's marking 3 + 4 deep!!!!
There's no amount of attention that can stop him!!! (I hope. Slightly biased. Slightly.)

Won't be so much the attention stopping him as his own confidence. Confidence players are risky in SC - really hard to quantify/predict.

I hope he keeps killing it but what goes up...
