Jake Carlisle

This guy is playing like Wayne Carey

I am tempted to trade Hibberd to him. His ceiling, form and their draw cant be ignored.

I nearly got him 2 weeks ago for D7 cover, but now I am thinking of getting him for Hibberd or Jaensch

Crazy?

Frozensage

Carey said he was over giving him some tips.

yep before last weeks game they got together 8)

In crazy form, taking heaps of marks and booting goals.
But now he's quite expensive, and I'm not sure he can keep it up.
I'd like to see him play well, against some quality opposition, before brining him in at that price.

SC God

Bloody stoked i got him for 300k for Hibberd 3 weeks ago

Scored 84 155 & 183

Hibberd going down today makes that trade even look like more of a stroke of brilliance

Big Mac

Think you've missed the boat on him tbh. I could be wrong but I feel like anyone trading him in would just be chasing his scores

shaker

I'm sure 8 goals will make teams pay some more attention  ::)

Great move, you must be stoked.

As a Bombers fan I'd love to see him continue this form. But he's a confidence player - more suited to the Backline and still should play there IMO. He's still learning.

Good on u if u got him as D7 for 300 K - but yeah pretty risky bringing him in now.

We have 2 KPP's down there though in Hooker and Hurley. Hooker is a lock for All Australian and Hurley is playing the best football he has in years.

Carlisle in 2 weeks as a forward has done more than Hurley has in the last 2 years. He needs to stay forward IMO.

In terms of trading him in RD, you have missed the boat, too expensive now and can be inconsistent.

HotTiges

Too late as well.Just remember he is a KPP.so whilst he is flying now next round could be 50-70 score

We'll have to agree to disagree. Fletch will be gone sooner rather than later. Carlisle killed it down back and it suits him better. If his confidence is down it really affects our fwd line. He's been great lately but before that was no good at all. Swing him fwd at times by all means, but we've got Daniher and Ryder and I believe his best position is CHB. Just need Bellchambers to regain form now (in terms of talls)

Certainly in a bit of form. The game where Darcy Gardiner got into him seems ages ago

Bellchambers needs to regain fitness and confidence before he comes back into the side. I don't know if he will be back this year. The forward line looked better IMO without Daniher there, maybe there is a case to give him a few weeks out and get fresh before we bring him back. Carlisle won't play CHB either, that is where Hooker plays and he will be AA CHB. While Ryder is the no 1 ruck and should pinch-hit forward at times.

We need to play one of Hurley or Carlisle forward, we are too tall playing both of them with Hooksey and Fletch down back. Carlisle has been better than Hurley forward and IMO Bomber will keep them in their current positions.
