It might be a 3 way deal. I am surprised that Melbourne would even want the soft cock

Contracted Dees, he ain't going for nothing. Give us back Dawes.

What are you smoking?  ;D

So happy to see that Potato gone, never to return to the Pies...

Lumumba at Melbourne could become very fantasy relevant in terms of SC.

Wouldn't mind Watts or Frawley in return.

Disagree, Dawes had a bad year when they made him play ruck. Reckon as a 2nd tall he'd still contribute, swing Reid back down and we have a decent structure again.

I wouldn't mind a proper key forward to compliment Cloke, Reid needs to play CHB, that's his natural role and his best position.

We look a better team with Reid down back, but we need another key forward. Maybe Darcy Moore will get thrown into the deep end next year? Corey Gault looked good also, but something definitely needs to happen.

Watts is only a trade target for 3rd rate teams, the pies are better off getting Frawley. I don't think the pies want Dawes back -I don't even think the Demon's really want him, just no other options-, he's always been a terrible forward.

Hoping Port can recruit Goldsack but it seems to become less likely each day  :-\

Really think Sack is worth 450k a season?

Based on ability /potential I'd prefer Watts :P

Doubt the Dees would be happy with Harry for Watts and doubt Frawley would be interested in the Pies , think he wants success quicker than the Pies can offer  ::)

I'm sure he's just having coffee with Roos like Pods was with Sando.  :P

Spite

I don't even want Frawley but it would be cool to have Reid and Frawley just switch opponents each quarter for lols 😜

There is a common misconception about Watts at Melbourne.

Roos (and myself) rates Watts and I extremely doubt he is going to be traded. For Lumumba? Please.

You guys can have Frawley, as long as Hawthorn don't, I'm fine with it  :P

Looking like the Lions are going to have a massive crack at Beams don't know if they will get him this year but if we start to hear he wants to leave contract talks till the end of next season we all know what that means  ::)

Apparently, $1.5 million free space to offer him.. Big big money!

Don't think he will get that much they want Ryder as well but means the other clubs have to step up there offers , with Beams it might be more about coming home so if money is much the same home might win out

Two words: Leigh Brown

If we can turn Leigh Brown into the missing piece of a premiership, we should be right with Jack Watts

(now don't throw big Q and Jesse White in my face!)

But I'd prefer Frawley
Yeah with Malthouse, I'm sorry Collingwood supporters but Buckley isn't really the best coach out there, I'd put him in the bottom four (pending Cameron & Richardson's next few seasons), if not the bottom of the barrel

powersuperkents

Frawley won't go to Collingwood, he only has 4-6 years left in him and I doubt Collingwood will be a premiership contender in that time period. The last time I saw a team slip like this was in 2009 when my beloved PAFC fell, Collingwood will obviously take less than 5 years to recover, but I doubt that could rise as quickly & consistently as Port has (7th & 5th ladder position; & 5th & 5th -pending Freo clash- finishing position). Most teams even make the top 4 one year and then fail to make the 8 the next. Really they should be building a stable foundation over the next few years and allowing their players to develop. They should contest for the 8 but Nth, Essendon, Crows, GCS, WCE, & Richmond all have stronger and more reliable lists atm and will be the more relevant contenders. Elliott, Pendles, Sidebottom, & Reids stocks are sure to rise though over the next few seasons. Is the Beams trade only a rumour? Because there is nothing substantive out there about it
