I'm one of the very few people I know that prefer cats.
Too many peoples opinions of cats are based on some half feral thing that their family or someone they know has owned.
I have 2 pure bread burmese cats and they are awesome. All they wanna do is sleep on you.

Because I don't have the time or patience to look after an animal. Cats are far less work than dogs and suit me better

And that pretty much sums up why I prefer dogs.

Because they are more work?  :o

Suits most people, people work long hours, last thing they want to do is walk the dog. If you don't have that commitment then it's not so much of an issue

Precisely. No walking, no bathing, no cleaning their crap all over the backyard lol.
