Still think Smithy was so unlucky.

Yeh Moreland definitely would've gone home before him, but Smithy wasn't exactly dominating the competition. I barely noticed him in the first few games

Yeah he didn't cop much air time but by the same token he hadn't picked up a bottom 3 vote until this week. How many AFL games are played on red dirt anyway? Very very unlucky in my book.

Mark shoulda gone. Dudes definitely not going to win the comp I think everyone knows that.

Felt bad for Smithy, but as pointed out he never seemed to really stand out (not that he ever seemed to be bad or anything), but he just like flew under the radar a bit without really sticking out. Obviously it is hard when they trim down full matches into like 5min of highlights but yeah. Still think Chris should have gone, how can you have another chance in a show where the point is it is their last chance?

Agree re: Mark won't go this week due to Vossy's reaction. Which annoys me because he annoys me. At the moment my fave people would have to be Maxwell, Wagner, and to a lesser degree Waylen and Jackel. If one of them win I will be happy :)

Noz

No offence but you don't want the first ever winner of the recruit to be a guy like Waylen who can just get homesick and leave at any time. He has talent but you wouldn't pick him on talent alone he needs to be mentally prepared and he isn't.

You called it.

Actually I disagree found this comment I think is spot on myself

"A sign of mental strength and maturity was to knock back Chris Morleans Captains call and keep himself on the line, along with replacing Chris with himself last week"

Vinny

That's one instance though takes more than that to be an AFL player.

SydneyRox

I liked the fact that he fought to stay on the line and be judged. But there were too many times this week and in previous were he has shown a lack of mental strength.
I thought at one point they were going to send all three home. Might as well have got rid of pods, he will be the easy target next week.

well there goes my pick

in my opinion I don't think it was mentally strong by Waylen to knock back Moreland's vote, I really think Waylen just wanted to go home, which is disappointing because he looked good with ball in hand (from the limited highlights they show anyway)

Who goy booted? I missed it!

If you didn't pick up from the Waylen talk El, I don't know if I should spoil :P.

Agree, figured he was going home from the teaser from last week. Nobody else would have made everybody tear up. Waylen had the talent but can tell he wasn't mentally all there, probably home sick and also all these rigors of AFL footy/challenges wouldn't help that. Wish him the best as liked him but I'm sure alot liked him! But with you JB, probably wasn't going to win the recruit as too risky.

As for the other one, about time :P.

Capper

ok, havent read any of the thread as i am one ep behind now.

Massive call by Waylon to put himself up for the drunk

See ya Smithy
