with birchalls up and down scoring this year i was maybe looking trading birch back to snitch. yeah birch score 90 odd on the weekend. but some shocking scores 2-3 weeks before hand.

thoughts?

If snitch is Sam Mitchell then maybe.

Do many of your serious competitors have Birchall? If so I would swap. But if not, I think I would save the trade because there is carnage on the horizon and you should be able to get better points value for your last few trades.

Looking at your team you have litherland and gardener at d7 and d8. You will need better cover than that if you want a chance at winning. So i suggest you trade litherland to mitchell. If you trade birchall you will still need to make another trade of litherland or gardener as they will be used when there are outs or late withdrawals. Birchall will be a great d7 as back up.

I love (sarcastic) the support you're getting ando_10.

Second overall and your request gets 90 views for 2 replies!!

I sort of agree with Rowan but with still a few rounds to go, there will be premiums missing and if you can trade in a replacement you'll get ahead quicker that way than by having a lot of money on your bench in the off chance you'll need to play your reserves.

enzedder

I wouldn't. He's been solid for 80s 90s and 100s all year bar those two recent rounds and R2.
Save the trade for something better in the coming weeks.
I imagine a lot of the top teams will be running close to the wind and by not doing this trade you may have a better competitive edge later. If it was for Suckling or Jaensch then maybe my advice would be different. They pump out the 50s and 60s that kill but Birchall in comparison hasn't. I'd be prepared to chance it. Birchall was better this week as you pointed out.

blackrose

I know he's second overall but we still kinda need to know how many trades he has left if he wants advice on a luxury upgrade like that. Personally, I'm doing cutler to s. Mitchell this week and keeping birch as d7 or possibly loopholing him/k . Simpson (who has a lot of early week games coming up)

Do not divulge how many trades you have left!  ;)

If you could somehow find the cash to go from Litherland to Mitchell, that would be a preferred option.

This, depth will be key as the trades dry up, I'd be viewing Birch as a D7 and potential loophole option.

Dont ask for advice if you cant share how many trades you have left and how much money in the bank. As our advice has to take everything into consideration.

He is ranked 2nd overall why the hell should he reveal how many trades he has left in an open forum letting those ranked around him know how many he has left.

That would be perfect, but I doubt Ando could do it without using two trades.

SMitch could be a bit of a POD for you Ando, if the others around you don't have him.
But it all depends on how many trades you have left.
Say Mitchell averages 10 more points than Birchall until the end of the season, that's an extra 60 points.
If you're really low on trades, then you may have to keep the trade, as a trade could be used later in the season to save a donut, which could easily get you an extra 100 points, in one week.
It's a tough one.

Ricochet

Hard to answer without knowing trades mate.

But basically if you have spare trades up your sleeve (like 3+) then definitely go Birch to SMitch.
If you have plenty of cash then look to upgrade your cover as it will save you a trade down the track
If low on trades then hold Birch and hope for the best. At least he will play every game

Well if he isnt going to tell us how many trades then the advice would be: trade birchall to mitchell if 4 or more trades and hold if you have less than 4 trades. If you have the money to go litherland to mitchell in one trade then do that over trading birchall providing you have 4 or more trades

Birchall outscored both Simpson and Bartel last week.

Whatchya gunna do when Sandi gets a rest this week?  Lobb?

Just suggesting Birchall is pretty good for D6 at the moment and as JROO has mentioned, donut avoidance is of paramount importance.
