Man I'm tempted just go go look at your scores(team) from every week and count how many trades you've done myself!! (Of course I wouldnt post it anywhere, just curious)

Then again, I'm pretty lazy

miffysp

amazing ranking ando. 100 times better then me.
im ranked 200th and have 3 trades left. have the cash to upgrade laidler to smitch to have an extra premium in defence.
my team will be structured so i could have any player out and still field a premium in there place.
id have bird floating between f/m and stefan r/f.
i think having this structure will help me climb higher and its unlikely ill get over 2 LTI's.
is it possible for you to maybe get extra premiums like mitchell in mid to swing to def if needed???

If you had the cash to go Lithers or Gardiner to SMitch pull the trigger on that before turfing Birch.

Birch as D7 is a very attractive proposition. Trades to a point mean less as you will have good cover on the bench if you have Birch on the bench and good bench cover elsewhere.

While keeping in mind that anything could happen, of the top ten only teams #3 and #5 have Birchall. So he's a bit of a POD at the top end, however I agree that this could be a negative thing, if he scores badly it'll hurt. Burgoyne, Suckers (!) and Hodge were also in the mix, Burgoyne in a few teams, Suckers in a couple, Hodge in one. No one really seems to have much bench cover, so it could be a master stroke if you can go Litherland to Smitch, then if someone like Hanley is out or has a bad game you'd be ahead of the game.

I've just realised I don't even know when overall is decided - is it before finals, as in there are only 2 rounds to play, or does it include finals too, so goes another 6 rounds? If it's only the two rounds then it could be a make or break option. If it's 6 then too much of a risk...

Whatchya gunna do when Sandi gets a rest this week?  Lobb?

This also jumps out at me in your team, your ruck cover isn't there and that would be my biggest worry. If Sandi or Sauce has a week out you're high and dry. So I would only be looking at getting SMitch in if you have 3+ trades, and enough cash to go Litherland to Smitch in one trade.

yep he's my big POD as he's my K Simpson

With Brad Hill back, Birchall may escape the tag, so that's something you must consider.
I'm guessing you're low on trades, so you might have to hold him.

Can you afford Pyke... he'd have better JS for sure. (If ya looking at the cover option.)
No cover could really hurt this time of year, so a sideways for Sandi could come back to bite you- But if you are looking here: Minson is pretty hardy, but Goldy has really hit his straps.

Just looking at ya cover in the other lines, it's pretty thin mate...
I guess ya need to consider if you're happy to spend all your bank to the last $ (for ruck cover), just in case you need to cover other lines in the coming weeks??? :-\

Given your overall mate- you should probably go for broke and maximise ya points on the field- i.e. go for sideways Sandi to Goldy... but I'm scared giving this advice to you  :-[ ;D
You should run a poll mate!!

shower. bet ya wishing ya jumped on the big stefan wagon a few months ago. ive planned for sandi missing so quietly glad he is now.

If you can afford this i rekon itd be your best way to go:

Sandi-Stefan(yes his gone up a lot in price yet still good value.
and
litherland or shenton to smitch.

can you afford this???

Sorry but way too late to get on stefan. He's risen more than 200k. Was worth it at his starting price but not now.

S.Mart is a risky choice sure but not "way too late" to get on him - 4th highest average for a fwd or a ruck, lowest score of 89, defnitely still value in him. The off putting factor is Brisbanes finals draw, plays Gold Coast and Melb to finish SC season then has Adelaide (Sauce), Collingwood (Potato), Freo (Sandi) and Geelong (HMac?) to finish out, could be rough... With that said, he posted 95 vs Freo, 133 vs North, 100 vs West Coast and 102 vs GWS which were all tough ruck games too so he's capable of mixing it with the big boys.
