With only two weeks until SuperCoach finals, trades are important. You should look to strengthen your team, while also making sure you have suitable back up on the bench and some trades for finals. Here, we'll look at the best players to bring in and players to offload.

Money Makers
Ben Brown (RUC/FWD) - Price: $178,700 - Breakeven: -35
Gary Rohan (FWD) - $136,300 - -26
Josh Caddy (MID/FWD) - $284,200 - -14
Michael Apeness (RUC/FWD) - $137,300 - -5

Brown has played four games now, but he's still good value and will provide handy cover, due to his DPP. If you can't afford him, Apeness is your next best option, for a RUC/FWD.

Lots were burnt by Rohan and Caddy at the start of the season, but both are now cheap and will make cash and provide cover.

Dump
Cameron Shenton (MID/FWD) - $306,700 - 111
Josh Kelly (MID) - $289,100 - 102
Lewis Taylor (MID/FWD) - $392,600 - 99
Tom Langdon (DEF/MID) - $293,000 - 84

Shenton started as the sub on the weekend and his spot in the Saints' 22 may be in danger. Kelly has no more cash to make, so his time in your side should be up, while Taylor and Langdon can be good bench options, but if you need cash to make an upgrade, trade them.

Watchlist
Dean Towers (MID/FWD) - $123,900 - Average: 28

Get on
Sam Mitchell (DEF/MID) - $412,800 - 68
Brent Harvey (MID/FWD) - $564,500 - 88
Kade Simpson (DEF) - $421,800 - 94
Tom Liberatore (MID) - $543,400 - 97

Mitchell is super cheap, due to an injury affected score earlier in the year. He is close to a must have at that price. Harvey has been in great form, this season and with and easy end to the season, Boomer is also a must have. Simpson is cheap after some poor recent scores, but expect him to bounce back. Liberatore is good value at under $550k, as long as Ryan Griffen plays, as Libba won't cop the opposition's tag.

Watchlist
Brad Ebert (MID) - $448,600 - 165
Sam Jacobs (RUC) - $630,500 - 160
Jimmy Bartel (DEF/MID) - $528,700 - 152
Josh P. Kennedy (MID) - $587,000 - 140

Who will you be trading in or trading out this week? Is there someone I missed?

Haha, can't believe he's gone down in price.
I got Caddy in RDT, for the same reason, he's good @ M9/F7.

Yep someone to consider, I just pointed out those four as then have lower breakevens, but if Mora can stay away from the green vest, he should be good.

HotTiges

Hmm have to decide if Shenton is good enough for bench cover for the year or weather or not to trade him for mora for cash..

Shenton's spot isn't in danger. Saints have few options to bring in. Lots of injured players and hardly any banging on the door to come in. Shenton's form has been solid and he has a crack. Think there would be a bit of an outcry from the fans if he lost his spot.

I'd be wary of Mora mate. Ross has said all year that his fitness isn't up to AFL standard after missing 3 eyars of footy at that level. Which is fair enough. So I'd expect a lot more vests, maybe a full game here and there, and possibly a resting.

Hope they at least start him this week against the Saints. Only one way to gain match fitness, time on ground. They can vest him after three qtrs.

Yep agree, but I think its more a long term thing rather than short term (in regards to building fitness base). Just something to consider anyway

bonebones

Lyon is pretty keen to have him up and ready for finals. Given that is a matter of weeks, you would think that he needs to get some proper game time in to those legs. Even if he gets subbed off, he will still score better than most of the other crappy cover options (Shenton, Honey, etc etc).

kilbluff1985

if Mora is fit enough he deserves a full run over Sylvia

Start the outcry. He's been dropped
I thought he had good JS too and that's why I kept him as my swing man m/f. Now who knows if when he'll be back??

I'm not happy about it....just like I wasn't last week when Minchington was dropped.
At least the coach is getting a good look at all players before the end of year cull.
Not good for my Acres/Shenton mid bench though.
