Current defence is: Bartel, McVeigh, Hibberd, Simpson, Swallow, Burgoyne (Bews, Clurey).

With 4 trades and limited funds, would you offload Hibberd, Simpson or Burgoyne to SMitch?

Happy with all other lines. Currently sitting mid 2000's, 1st in league with some easy matches leading into the finals.

Is it too sideways and a waste of a trade?

Thanks in advance.

so many other threads about mitchell. Not worth sideways trading too. He's not a must have. Coming back from a hamstring injury and hasnt seen the world on fire. Will cop the number one tag every week and has crowley and maccaffer still to come.

Too sideways. With just the 4 trades left I would be holding them for any injuries or restings that take place over the next 6 weeks.

If Hibberd is out again this week then Mitchell in for him woul be ok I think.

As a sideways trade it's silly and wasteful but what about as D7 for cover? Georgiou > SMitch...?

Woppa15 I have done a similar trade. Laidler to s mitchell to have 7 premiums in defence yet my situation is a bit different to urs as laidler is actually playing.
Im thinkin I m wasting a trade for the sake of a possible 20-30 points in the case of a l8 out.
This would leave me with 2 trades and sitting 200th overall

TBH I was going to be bringin in Robbie Gray and moving either SMartin or Motlop to F7 and just leave my Def with no cover and just make a trade if someone got injured. But at that price it's hard to ignore Mitchell, you won't find a better Def player at that price.

So much talk of trading in Mitchell. Arent people worried that he continues to have hammy soreness? Hes not young anymore and coming back from a hammy is tough and are likely to continue to do it. Look at rioli. Mitchell surely will do it again and if not then will get rested.

One of the reasons why I'm waiting until next week for Bartel to drop under $520,000. Add his durability to the fact that apart from when he got injured, and his starring game, he hasn't done THAT much. Plus he has Crowley and Macaffer coming up who will more than likely tag him.

I'm praying Suckling goes about 80+ and Bartel gets less than 125 to ensure I'll have the cash to bring him in....

The only risk of doing it again is if he rushed back in....which didn't happened. He is no more likely to do a hammy than Bartel or Hibberd or Malceski - I don't have any of those as I didn't want to put the mozza on any of my defenders. With Mitchell's long and recent track record, he is a bargain. Given you guys ranking, you will know better than us if he is right for your team.

I'm worried - looking at Hibberd or Eski instead. Not just that - Crowley,Macaffer in SC finals plus Dees,Dogs who will probably tight tag him too.
