Swan to SMitch ?

Was just having a play around with my team...

And was thinking about finally trading out Swan and swinging Swallow into mid and putting in SMitch..

Does that sound good or silly....finally had enough of Swan

Its exactly what I have been thinking about doing... However with all the heat on the pies midfield, Swan could come out big.  Gary Lyon was calling for answers today from Buckley as to why he is spending all his time in the FWD line... If we find out he's carrying a injury this week I'm definitely going Swan to Mitchell

Not a bad idea I'm in a similar situation and hadn't though of this. Who is your d6 though? Mine is suckling so even with swan playing at absolute worst he's probably not going to out score him by much anyway. Swan has to have something wrong with him, doesn't look like he can tackle, and can't get close enough to a contest to lay one.

I've been thinking about this trade as well. I'm low on cash too, so other options I was thinking about were Swan to Ebert, Judd, or Deledio. Is SMitch a better option than these mids?

Seems Mitchell's scoring is a fair way behind the top 10 mids.

I'd grab a Rocky, Libba, JPK, Fyfe over him anyday.

DPP? May be worth a few points but over the next few weeks the top mid will outscore Mitchell by a fair bit I think.

I did the GAJ to Smitch last week, but so I could swing him into def and get Rocky this week for Suckling.

I think both Smitch and Swallow hold the most value in defense. As the Doc says they will both most likely not be top10 mid scorers, but they are top5 def scorers.
