Have 7 trades left.
Also doing McDONALD to Mitchell (D6) to complete my back line.
Current Midfield is.   Pendles, Kennedy, J-S-Wood, Sloan, Harvey, Dangerman, Fyfe, Swan (Shenton & O'Brien).
I'm leaning towards Steve J, but not 100% sold.

Thoughts Please?????????

I also have 7 trades ( but kept Ablett this week) swan has not cracked 100 this year. I am seriously considering swan to morabito which is a huge risk but will net me 300 k. Meaning all my other 6 trades will be upgrades, except the Ablett one.
In his 2 quarters of footy he has averaged 30 points per quarter. His tank should be ok as he has played all year in wafl, only concern is the knee. Freo also play the 2nd game of next week meaning I can wait to see if he is named as the sub prior to making the trade....may still only get 3/4 of footy though.

Swan may come good but geez you've done well to hold onto him this long.Personslly think he is battling a leg injury, why else is he playing forward. Not doing any damage as a forward either. With that many trades left get rid.he is taking up a position in your mids where you should be getting 105-110 avg at least..

I traded swan to K. Jack on friday. He's cheap and will average 110 - 115 easy I reckon.

Time to trade alright. Glad I never brought himin this year. Can't believe the year he has had.

Of those I'd grab SJ or MMurphy mate. SJ is starting to look like his old self and after GWS he has a week off so shouldn't get a rest any time soon

Swan is definitely battling an injury. He has 50% agility as opposed to last season. Will not score well for rest of the season. Of your options I've gone Mundy. Consistent and won't get rested, injured or suspended which I can't say for the rest - particularly Stevie! Murphy would be my second favourite.

I reckpn if Stevie J makes the cut this week then he won't be rested at all, the split round is a rest for those that need it. With Geelong pressing hard for top 4 and a home final I just can't see how anyone can be rested to be honest, there's simply too much at stake here.

It's not the resting that's the issue with SJ, it's the late withdrawal potential..

True, he still has a sore back but based on form it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

thanks all.      all very good points.....    SJ it is.     will wait to see if he is named/rested when match day teams re confirmed and then it is a straight swap.
I do like that they are still fighting for the top four and his bye also falls in a good spot for a rest.    fingers crossed he doesn't do anything silly and gets suspended.     lol

Gerard Whately said Rodney Eade has confirmed Swan has a foot and a heal injury. No certainty to face Crows..
