point was what i would have spent sinking funds into abbott and pendles is that i reduced the need on slow burning rookies and was able to pick better mid prices and prems
regardless its worked well enough for me and created a better experience too i might add on a personal level. cause alot of the rounds i had more POD's than not.

might be the case but i would be confident that 95+ of the top 100 started ablett. Will be doing soo next year at this stage.

Ablett Pendles Rocky lock and load.

2nd year a row Abbott has broken down... last year he scrapped through with a few poor scores
this time out entirely
maybe next he will get half a  season in

Mate you started well but stop while you still have some credit remaining ???

Don't argue just for the sake of it man...

You can't look at these scores from the start of the season and argue that leaving Ablett out was a good idea, until his injury he was the highest averaging player by about 10 PPG. He didn't have a starting price of 3,000,000 so don't act as if you could buy a whole premium by leaving him out.

140, 121, 182, 138, 161, 145, 141, 184.

So that's an average of 151 for the first 8 games where he even gained value.

Even with the injury scores he is the highest averaging player and you reckon it was a good move leaving him out. If you can't see that, you are flowering crazy. ::)

Each to their own. I started with him and will start with him again. I do like seeing people do something different tho and in this case it helped the rest of us.

Redbaron

I started him and the way Gold Coast are going now without Gary it's hard to believe he is ready drop off. He will eventually but not next year. Only 15 games of footy this year will mean he will be playing like a 25 year old.

Ramus

Every year the same argument, every year the same result, Gary Ablett Jr is a must have, those who argue against are surely only fooling themselves?

Wasn't like it was a wear and tear injury he was unlucky to have his shoulder dislocated.

How can you say it worked well for you when you're ranked like 10k?  :o

Even if I knew he would only play the first half of the season next year, I would still get him.
Way to good not to have and only noobs that make up the numbers don't have him

+1, but even the noobs still pick Ablett.

Dayze

Has Gaz upset u mark?
U came on here pre season, running ur mouth about gazzas decline.
We all disagreed and we were right. Picking ablett from round 1 was a good decision.
This is reflected in ur 10k ranking.

And now ur going to try again? I guess if u predict it every year eventually u will b right. Not likely 2015 tho

mark621

hey he did well still this year an average of 136 is pretty good

ill get my official ranking for you at some point if you really need, but yes i do believe hes well overdue to fall down
but unless your number 1-3 does it matter what your ranking is? really

i also got noted to be silly about not picking up franklin right from the start of the season suggesting a mid point was smarter... wanna say i was wrong there as well

i believe it was phrased "are you trolling, you the same guy who said not to pick ablett and now your saying dont pick franklin"
