Do you guys thinks Joey Montagnas days of being elite are over ? Or could he be a good value pick next year.

i don't think he will produce those figures again.. with more experienced teammates departing at seasons end... He will definitely get the #1 tag each week and has seem to struggle with it at times this year... whereas previously having Dal Santo/BJ took the focus off him...

Mr.Witt

what about Steven who would cop the tag first?

Mr.Witt

Armitage might be a good unique pick ;) rarely will cop a tag but still produce big numbers maybe ?

Rowan1812

What about Jack Martin.

Either but in a team that will struggle they'll both cop their share of attention. Both risky picks.

Had 2 good weeks and Saints will be looking to him to fill the void left by Hayes. He has a big enough body to take the next step and could be a great inside mid... His numbers aren't there yet so another risky pick. At this stage I'd take Armo or Steven over Monty but doubt I'll have any of them next year.

I doubt I will have many of the underpriced premiums espescially in the mids maybe Griffen but that would be about it

I really like Leuey with the discounted price, but I did the same this year and started with him and it burnt me.

NDS if he gets DPP would be a lock. He has played half back a lot this year. Danger if he retains his DPP which I think he will.

Watson would also seem a lock with the discount he will get.

All of the rookie listed mature age drafted players from the tv show The Recruit!

102k rookies that *should* be ready to play AFL from day dot. Yes please and thank you.

Quoting because people may have missed it. Should allow for a stronger team on the park

Doesnt only one player get a contract from that? Cant see them getting a game whoever it is and where ever they go..

No you've missed the entire point.
One player gets a guaranteed contract on a rookie list and others can be drafted in a special draft. I guarantee that at least the top 3 will be picked up. Thats 3 mature age recruits already.

THEN of course they will play! It's a marketing ploy. Saints will pick someone up from it and by gosh they will play the kid. He will bring fans to the games as fans of the show etc

tbagrocks

Brad Crouch, Taylor Walker ;)  Nic Nat unless we are gifted another cheap ass Sandi, maybe Berger? Unless he plays this year, Scharenburg. Brodie Smith, Tom Mitchell, Ablett, Pendlebury, JPK, Rockliff, any of the Sydney mids that are listed FWDs, Buddy, Chad "The Boss" Wingard
