Nice to see that Port can make a jumper in a week, yet Richmond can't.

We weren't asked to? Why would we..

Why would you? because the club should say to the AFL, fairs-fair Port earned it, we'll sort out a alternative strip

I don't think that kind of sportsmanship in the AFL exists anymore mate to be honest.

It's easier to produce guernseys that have already been designed and used before, rather than creating some from scratch though.

So that makes it right then GL. Why hasn't every club got a white strip to avoid these senarios

They do have a clash guernsey which IIRC they have worn against you multiple times, but for some reason the AFL doesn't want them to wear it on this particular occasion.

But if they had a white one which 15 odd clubs abide to, we wouldn't be discussing this. So you agree Port should find a alternative strip I gather?

I think it's stupid that Port have to find an alternate strip. But given the circumstances (i.e. the AFL being idiots), it's a lot simpler for Port to use their prison bars guernsey than for the Tigers to create a new one.

Grazz

I know its a training jumper but nothing wrong with this, i like it a lot actually. Tigers could of been asked to wear this. The whole point of the argument is the phone call for a jumper change should of gone to Richmond it should never of gone to Port's headquaters
it's their home game if anyone thinks differently then thats their issue but they'd be wrong wrong wrong. If the shoe was on the other foot and Port finished below the Tigers and had to play in Victoria and the Tigers got the call to get a new strip id bet all i have and own that Tigers fans would be cracking the sh!ts big time.

Agree " the AFL  are IDIOTS " and as the situation stands at the minute, it is probably easier for Port to do what there doing, but why hasn't every club got a white clash strip , to avoid this exact situation?. Maybe there's something I'm missing haha, or is it the Eddie factor. Either way mate, just stinks of "new boys on the block" , do as your told. Hate to see the boot on the other foot, there would be a riot

PS - I wrote my reply before reading Grazz's, and couldn't be bothered starting again :)

Slashers

None of it matters. Port feed off the energy passionate fans inside the Portress create. The prison bar guernseys will be a game long reminder to the fans to keep feeding the players more AND MORE energy!
The pressure put on Richmond will be relentless!
Game over...

Lol that's just ridiculous. We have worn our clash strip against you since 2010 and would have thought it would be fine to wear again. How could Richmond know? If the AFL came to us and said "find a different jumper for this weekends game" I'm sure we would have but they didn't ask us to so we didn't. No club would
