Afl made Freo wear their white jumper in the GF last year.. Because purple is strikingly similar to brown and gold

Two night finals in Melbourne, two day games outside of Victoria, how many more "Handouts" do the Vics need?

Quite a few it seems ::)

Toga

Richmond doesn't have a proper clash strip because of tradition, just like Collingwood. This decision seems a bit funny though.

Has nothing to do with it being "handouts" you sulk.
Last year 5th Vs 8th (Richmond Vs Carlton) was on The Sunday afternoon as well.
Geelong also played Freo during the day last year.
Such Victorian bias  ::)

Damn it, Toga and quinny having the same pic is becoming like KB and Zip, I'm struggling.  :P

I just think it's arrogance and disrespect to the rest of the comp, when a few clubs decide they wont have a clash strip. People can have all the answers they want, but the home team deserves to wear their strip. The AFL cave in to Eddie, ( because their a gutless organisation ) and a few other clubs hide under his umbrella. Pathetic

It was the AFL's decision not Richmond's.
I think you guys should be wearing your home strip, but who cares it means nothing.

QuoteBut late on Monday AFL general manager of football operations Mark Evans said the League was prepared to place the Power in their prison bar jumper as long as they wore white shorts.

As long as they wear white shorts? Um, how about telling Richmond to wear yellow shorts....

Wow this is so flowered...

I think the white shorts is Collingwood related?

Understand on both your points JROO, but what choice have the AFL got, if you guys don't have a away strip. You can say sour grapes, but if the shoe was on the other foot mate, you wouldn't be happy

Mailman the 2nd

Poor decision from the AFL, but not Richmond's fault in the slightest
