Help needed!

Had the VC on JPK which I would like to take.
I had intended to put sandilands to my ruck bench, move thurlow on the field with the C and the E on Sandi but I've just realised that I already had the E on Currie in my rucks  :-[

I know generally if you have 2 emergencies on the 1 line, you get the lowest score of the 2 but does this still count when one of them doesn't play? will I get curries 0 or sandis score?

E on a player only counts if the player plays.

And so say all of us.
