Would love him to continue as captain but wouldn't mind if he decided not to. He could act as a mentor to the new captain while playing next to them

I wouldn't have thought so. Its weird because all talk before 2014 was that de Boer would be the next captain. But after the year he has had it certainly puts question marks on him

This is true, i think whatever Pav wants will happen. If he wants to just kick back and just enjoy his last year or two of footy plus spend more time with the family he will but if he's happy to put in the exra stuff as cpt he'll do that. But as you say he'll always be a leader of the club cpt or not.
