Current rucks...Sandi Minson (Currie, King)
These 2 have served me well for some time without cover.
Currie to Brown has been playing on mind seeing that his price is about to rise further and Sandi is likely to be rested at some stage in the next 7 rounds.
Devil's advocate tells me it's a wasted trade as Brown may not be in North's side when I need him and I could easily trade Sandi to another quality ruck to avoid that doughnut if and when that happens....or simply cop said doughnut...or if I traded for Brown he might only score a minimal amount too.
I do not have SMartin either.
I know there are a lot of other coaches out there with no decent ruck cover who must be worried about Sandi being rested or maybe I'm alone on that front and everyone jumped on the Martin train.
With few trades left I'm not likely to get Ben Brown but was wondering if others thought it was worth it.

His JS definitely seems to have increase with Tarrant's injury but whether or not you bring him in would depend on how many trades you have left. I had 5 left last week and brought him in for Derickx as I knew the cash would be useful at some stage, and I may as well have someone actually playing in that spot for cover. However, 4 trades or less and I don't think I would entertain the idea, especially as you won't be making any money from the trade.

thinking the same thing as I also have Minson & Sandi. The other option is to simply save the trade on moving Sandi onto Jacobs who I feel will play out the season. Goldy is another option if the shower hits the fan. If you had SMartin the decision might be easier.

Thurlow is a good back-up plan, just need to avoid the late outs. I'm nervous about some Ross Lyon shenanigans.

All I'm saying is that you're perpetuating a rumour claiming certainty, with nothing to back it up beyond hearsay. It may or may not be true, I'll believe it when it happens. In the meantime, I won't go around scaremongering and telling people that "its been 100% confirmed so believe it".
