Need some help here!

Obviously Ablett needs to go! and so i'm dropping him for Stevie J!

I know goddard and Rocky are only going to miss a week but is it worth trading out goddard? Will he be a top 8 when the end of the year comes round??

I need to get rid of ambrose or Mcgovern as well before they leak cash so what should i do??

Mids: Rocky, Ablett, Pendles, Goddard, Beams, Swan, Cotchin and Miles

CubanPete

Def: Bartel, Simpson, Mcveigh, Swallow, Hibberd, Suckling (Weller and Langford)

Mids: Above (Shenton and C. Beams)

Rucks: Jacobs and Sandi (Martin and Currie)

Fwds: Harvey, Martin, Parker, Roughead, Danger, Mcgovern (Ambrose and Kersten)

Since i have already traded Ablett to stevie J i now have 350K in the bank

mooses

wouldnt go stevie j, still a massive chance as late withdrawal which would destroy your midfield, greenwood or ebert for mine and upgrade mcgovern to duncan or zaha

Why would stevie J be more of a chance of being a late withdrawal then greenwood or ebert?

I do want to upgrade either Mcgovern or Ambrose but personally think Ambrose should be first to go only because Mcgovern only played the one bad game because it was in the pouring rain.

Also how about Kieran Jack been in good, consistent scoring form

If not stevie j then priddis or jpk.

Great team by the way.

Upgrade ambrose to jack or duncan

Thanks mate!
Would you keep goddard and upgrade ambrose to jack? or would you trade goddard to JPK?

blues boy

Now im considering going ambrose to jack which would force me to play 2 out of Shenton and C. Beams but i will be able to keep goddard who should be a top 8 midfielder if you take out his injury affected game

If i trade goddard to either Barlow or JPK i will still have to play 2 out of shenton, beams, kersten, Ambrose and Mcgovern

So its either:

Lose Ambrose and Gain Kieren Jack and have Shenton and C. Beams on my field

or

Lose Goddard and Gain Barlow/JPK and have one of Mcgovern/Kersten/Ambrose and one of Shenton/Beams

I am versing the bloke second on my ladder this week and i need a win to go 2 games clear on top

No Beams at Collingwood training. Elliott trains away from main group as does Ball. No Reid either @FOXSportsNews

If you have to win this week, go for jpk.

Though i am keeping goddard on my bench for this week.

I could gloat and say I only have Ablett.....but it means admitting I don't have Rocky....and that makes me a idiot :)

I was in similar dilemma. Had those 3, held Rocky, traded Ablett to Stevie J and swung Shenton to mids, S. Martin to forwards from the rucks with Ben Brown being brought into the rucks. This allowed me to field an extra 'premo' (if he is classed as that yet) in Stefan Martin up forward with the swing. You could do the same with another mid forward effectively fielding another premo. Also McGovern still has a reachable BE of 65, Ambrose 71, so not huge. These trades left me with 525k left in the bank for a double mid upgrade next week to complete my side, situation permitting (Obviously down the track under performing premos such as danger, ebert, dahlhaus, etc or even if S Martin hits a wall it leaves me the remainder for sideways improvements and injuries).

This move allowed me to still field 20/22 premos, compared to 21/22 last week while still holding bench cover on each line.

Just what I have done not saying do it but some different opinion compared to simply sideways trading 2/3 of ablett, rocky and goddard to more premos.

Surely not! Surely he isn't going to be a disastrous late ou!

So are you saying it might be worth holding Ambrose for another week???

I'm thinking that ill probably keep goddard and rocky which will force me to play shenton and c.beams but i might bring in Kieren Jack for Ambrose

I just think his BE isn't as high as first though so could be held with a little price drop. Goddard could drop in price with a BE of 122 so he could be snapped up cheaper on his return and bring a cheaper possibly unique player in in the mean time.
