I think you'll find he's underrated more so in Victoria, us interstater's rate him highly that's for sure.

Yep definitely very underrated here.

Like just kid who supports an AFL team know the Pendles, Gaz, Swanny, Buddy etc.

Plenty wouldn't know Rocky.

He's not underrated with the umpires considering he came equal 5th in the Brownlow last year.

I must say when I watch Brisbane I find it a little hard to pick Rockliff out at times even though his stats shows he is doing a lot. Maybe it's his build and boring haircut I don't know.

nup couldn't disagree more brother. Derm thinks Cyril is the best ruckman in the league. nuff said right there. Bruce loves Cyril, but isn't in the same league as Dermie :P

Rocky is blue collar, nothing flashy about him whatsoever, but he's a ball magnet and he's incredibly versatile. His disposal is also much better than his stats indicate, given he wins a truckload of contested ball one can't place too much emphasis on his lowish DE. I'd place him in the top 5 mids at present, particularly given he seems to be immune from the hard tag.

Yet another interstate player underrated by the Victorian centric AFL fans/commentors. There's a huge list of them. Priddis,JPK,Sloane,Boak,Hurn,Hanley,Jack,Hannebery,Gray the list goes on.

Even the greats like Pav and Goodesy are/were underrated - Was it Dermie or Taylor saying on the weekend that Buddy is ahead of Goodes in terms of indigenous players?? - What a load of crap.

Goodes has won Brownlows (1 in the ruck) can play on ball,wing,ruck(early days),CHF,FF,CHB u name it - Buddy has a lot to do before he passes Goodes - like take contested marks and kick straight.
BUt because Buddy played for hawthorn for years he gets overrated.

But I digress - Rocky is certainly up there in terms of underrated.
