I reckon NDS is good for 112+ and Fyfe 120+

If you can use the cash saved to cover the points elsewhere by strengthening your side, that MIGHT be a better option.

I'd rather get Fyfe though.

But I don't think having GWS or Melbourne is having a good opponent/draw.

GWS destroy SC premos and  Melbourne can tag well.

Have Fyfe already, my choice comes down to NDS or Johnson as I want to upgrade Cutler to SMitchell.

Picking JPK for Gaz leaving me with

Pendles, JPK, Fyfe, Rocky, Libba, Selwood, Beams and Ward.

Just an update on GAJ

Gary Ablett underwent shoulder surgery in Melbourne this morning. Wishing you a speedy recovery, skipper!

Well you have no chance on the 50k from there, so that sounds like a good plan to me

I just did my research and NDS is out of the picture for me. I'll be trading Gaz to JPK or Priddis

Do tell? Why is NDS such a bad pick?

I never said he was a bad pick. I said he is out of the running for me now

Over the past 8 weeks Priddis has averaged 122, JPK 120 and NDS 109 with several sub tons

I want the best to replace the best, and the cash I save from NDS doesn't help me much anyway this week, so JPK and Priddis are who I am looking at, and I am leaning towards Priddis for a massive POD

Big Mac

I am also a bit sceptical about JPK. Probably because of his propensity to drop off a bit at the end of the year and the likelihood that Longmire would just sit him in the pocket if he was being tagged. Also will probably have a poor one this week. I have looked at Priddis, he has an easy draw coming up (Lions, Tiges, Crows, Pies, Bombers, Dees and Suns), but he seems to be more of a big game player to me. Libba is a big risk if Griffen goes down but even if he goes down this week, who will Libba face before the season is out? Should get a free run against the Hawks, Saints, Roos and Swans I reckon. Both of them big pods and I doubt many of the top 20 will pick them up, could be great for me if JPK goes quiet. Although he could do the opposite considering the brownlow is within reach now. . .

High averaging players that you should get THIS week if you respective lines aren't complete and if you don't have them are

Hanley in defence
SJ in mids
Parker up forward

All set to make at least $25000 this week.

Depends who you have and who you want.

If you want any of those guys then jump on, otherwise in your situation you could wait a week and the way this year is going, someone else will get injured and stuff up your plans anyway.

Are you suggesting that SJ wont be rested this year?
From what I've heard he's more likely to be rested then Jelwood. Don't think its wise to have both Jelwood and SJ with limited cover.

JPK had his issues last yr with his body so that explains his drop then (hated kicking). In 2012 he lead the AFL in contested possessions, this yr Ablett is leading it (JPK 2nd)... after another game you might as well say JPK will be leading again. With that in mind there is no reason he can't repeat what he did from rd17 onwards in 2012 + he's the best midfielder in the best team this yr, thats the train you want to be on in SC.

With Tippet (when back) Goodes and Franklin in the fwd line i can't see JPK spending more time there than he has in the past.

I just really think if you already have Libba and Rocky then JPK is a no brainer and a very straight fwd trade. Some will say "Fyfe" but he plays for SC killer Mr resting Lyon and has never played 22 games, JPK hasn't missed in 4.5 yrs.

If your high in the rankings then i strongly believe you go with the obv choice and there is no need to find the improver, just find the maintainer.

Vinny

Gary Ablett to have a ridiculously fast recovery and make it back for R20 where he will poll three votes every game and take home the Brownlow.

Footyrulz

I have decided on liba ahead of JPK and sloane. Already have fyfe.

If griffen his playing, he totally dominates, averaging 123 with 6/his last 7 over 125.

Just gonna hope for the best with griffen and see liba role out 130s!!

I think I have decided to get ASwallow (Scared stevie J will get rested) and this allows me to go Wingard to Boomer. The way I see it. Think this is better than trading to Fyfe. The way I see it.

Fyfe 120 + Wingard 85 = 205 vs Swallow 112 + Boomer 105 = 217.

I am not all that convinced that restings will occur especially with the split round coming up. No need to rest players especially if chasing positions in ladder for home finals.

Agree. With the split round and teams fighting for spots I don't think anyone's getting rested either (Perhaps Sandi)

Hope Sandi doesn't get rested, Lyon would be lyin' if that were the case.
