Jpk has a terrible record against Carlton bit worried! It's either jpk or nds for me

With everyone needing to trade gazza, I thought I would make a poll that applied to all.

Who is he best mid? I have put in everyone worth consideration excluding pendles, beams and selwood who are in most teams.

I have also left out Rocky and Goddard due to their suspensions.

JPK, Fyfe, Ward, Sloane in that order imo. But can't go wrong with any of those four

Voted JPK as that's who I'm getting. He edges out Libba and Sidebottom as ones I don't have. Didn't really consider MMurphy or Cotchin. Ward and Sloane are having a good year but something's stopping me from getting them. Fyfe I have... If I didn't he could rival JPK as the best of those options.

IMO I have the best mids except Rocky and JPK, so JPK makes the most sense for me, but I am heavily considering NDS because he is just as proven, has a great run home, and 540k is value, allowing me to use the extra cash I save elsewhere

Priddis would be a great POD, but for me I'm getting JPK or NDS

Sounds crazy but think I'm going to hold off on trading GAZ out this week so I can:

a) use him to loophole Stevie J into Pendles
b) get Rocky next week (even more of a POD now)

It means I have to run J.Martin in my MIDs but hopefully he'll be able to lift his output.... I'm also playing last place and have decided to stop chasing the $50k (currently 1,500 ish) and go for the win in my cash league

Thoughts?

Well you have no chance on the 50k from there, so that sounds like a good plan to me

I just did my research and NDS is out of the picture for me. I'll be trading Gaz to JPK or Priddis

Hanley in defence
SJ in mids
Parker up forward

All set to make at least $25000 this week.

Depends who you have and who you want.

If you want any of those guys then jump on, otherwise in your situation you could wait a week and the way this year is going, someone else will get injured and stuff up your plans anyway.

Hmm is Fyfe worth the extra $$ over jpk? For some reason I have a feeling JPK is just slowing down a tad..

Very happy I got Fyfe for about 550k when he bottomed out. Absolute gun, but 640k is hefty. He aint getting any cheaper soon though and is good for a 120 average so he is worth it, but if you need the 40k elsewhere JPK is your man

Cheers mate but I already have SJ, Parker up forward and a full back line.

I did think about bringing in Hanley into the MID this week and then trading out Enright to Rocky (via DPP). But only 4 trades and $60k left and Shenton needs to go in the near future

MID: Gaz, Pendles, Beams, Libba, Fyfe, Jelwood, SJ, Prestia (J.Martin, Acres)

FWD: Danger, Dusty, Parker, Buddy, Zorko, Shenton (Keresten, C.Cameron)

Any other thoughts?

I reckon NDS is good for 112+ and Fyfe 120+

If you can use the cash saved to cover the points elsewhere by strengthening your side, that MIGHT be a better option.

I'd rather get Fyfe though.

But I don't think having GWS or Melbourne is having a good opponent/draw.

GWS destroy SC premos and Melbourne can tag well.
