Not happy with him leaving Os? Don't think he left for the right reasons?

I have the utmost respect for Gary, he is a champion. What he's done for the club is massive, and what he's achieved is unbelievable. I'm just disappointed he couldn't add another Brownlow to his collection because I don't doubt him, but it will be tough to continue the stellar form he had this year, going on.

I respect Gary a lot :) But yeah, he did leave his team for money. I actually respect players more giving up success for money like Gaj did, as opposed to players like Goddard and Dal Santo who left there teams for success.

off topic but Goddard was the only one who left for money. Dal didn't want to leave, but he was one of very few who had currency. he helped us out

Just found out the news.just had a strong feeling the longer it dragged on the more he was going to take the surgery..at least we can afford anyone..hope he comes back for the better

Yeh i am, not in SC comp but in the Sportsbet comp. Really want Rocky so will wait the week.

Anyone else seeing the positive in this? Make or break moment in the season. Who you trade in and future captain choice is only going to make SC more interesting.

Not really its just making teams midfields less unique as we all just get the super premo we initially missed out on

Think Pendles is the next best 'perma captain' which we all should have.. but yeah, loopholing makes it easier.. but agree it makes it easier we can pick a JPK/Fyfe/Libba who we have bypassed all season..

Tend to agree, atleast Rocky being out this week will keep a few off of him.

Yeh he is the go to man regularly now and if you want to have a gamble on someone going larger you can but good to have a very solid fall back to guy.

I haven't got either rocky or JPK. I really want JPK, but I'm thinking of getting Sloane in for Ablett and upgrading Shenton to McVeigh both this week leaving me with a bit of cash left over. In a couple if weeks when JPK drops more cash, hoping to trade 1 of my 2 worst defenders in S Thompson or Enright to JPK (possibly rocky) via McVeigh
This should make both lines that bit stronger.

Yep think I will. Can play Miles and have all the other top scoring mids so seems the sensible thing to do.

The strategy of picking up Rocky is sound if you're in a cash league but for those chasing a high rank it would be better to pick up a cheap player who will average 110 from here (and upgrade elsewhere).

Copping donut for Goddard, in a good position in my main league and should stilll get the win.

Probably screwed in FF leagues though.
