FREMANTLE midfield gun David Mundy has baulked at agreement to a three-year contract to end his playing days at the Dockers and not finish back in his home state of Victoria.

Mundy is believed to want a four-year deal to end out his accomplished time at Fremantle.

But that demand has been met with a counter offer from Dockers management of two more seasons with an option for a third year if Mundy achieves certain performance criteria in 2016.

It is effectively a three-year deal and expected to be worth in the region of $2 million.

I just love reading Kim HACKdorn articles.  Take this with a grain of salt - he must have the worst sources in the history of AFL Journalism.

Kim HACKdorn should be made to post a retraction and apologise.
