I'll worry about that in two and a half years time. He'll probably be captain by then.

He said it in his press conference today that it makes sense as a player in the modern game to only take 3 years.  I see that it makes sense for 2 reasons.

1) His next contract he will be a restricted free agent.
2) He will be 25 and "hopefully" in his peak - therefore wanting a big money, long term deal
