My money is a smokey. The words coming from AFC were that it was somebody who nobody else is eyeing off, so I doubt it's Durdin given his interest.

And I seriously think it could be Nakia Cockatoo. Hasn't played much due to injury but he put in an incredible Combine showing, and got BOG on the pre-GF game between the Australia U17s (Level 1 Academy) and the "Allies" (NSW, QLD, NT, TAS combined U18 team). If he can string together some consistency and get his body right, some are saying he could be an A-Grader... been touted as an Aboriginal version of Patrick Dangerfield

He'd be a huge gamble if the likes of Goddard, Durdin are still there, but could well pay off big time. Offers the outside run that we need... If we picked him up with #14 I can see us using #35 or #43 on Keenan Ramsey, Oscar McDonald or another KPD.

As soon as I saw the trade to get pick 14. I knew they must of changed their mind on Durdin. Can't see him getting to pick 14.
And from that I put a big smokey pick on Cockatoo, or maybe even Langford. Both not really expected to be picked up at that point, and Adelaide are 100% certain their man will still be draft-able.

I think he'd just be a less overrated version of Cyril Rioli

Yeah, there's plenty of smokey mids that you could go with but I always thought you'd be better off going after a tall defender in this KPP rich draft, considering the Adelaide defence is just so reliant on Talia now!

Thing about Durdin is he could've been our swingman, Westhoff, the tall utility we needed. Instead we have a partner perfect for Talia ;D
