You make an interesting point mate, hopefully theres been a conversation with all the teams picking ahead of us thats assured us who we want at #14 instead of #10 will be there otherwise loosing 4 spots will be a very silly move. Listening to Phil suggests the later is the case. #Fingerscrossed

This is true and we were fortunate Talia was still there. If you are correct in what you said above then i have a concern that Durdin isnt who we are chasing, to say id be disappointed if we dont get him isnt a great thing to say as there are more than a few good first round picks who id like also but as ive said Durdin is the one i want but not necessarily who my team wants.

Can't comment on Noble as i didn't hear him say it but yeh Walsh has all but said they are sure whoever they want will be there.

Haha you may be right Mr C, certainly some interest here regarding out 1st pick, then we will all have to wait for the Crow's to confirm they got their man. Not sure i entirely understand the interest in our pick unless people are waiting to see if it blows up in our faces or hoping it will.  :-\

You never know who is available when - Reckon we got the steal of the draft last year with "sqizzy:" Taylor at 27 and do not forget we got Rockliff in the pre-season draft.

Huge risk but if they get their man at 14 then it's a smart piece of trading, by moving up 12 picks in the 2nd round. Definitely a very interesting pick now. It's a good draft for key defenders, but Durdin won't last 'til 14; Caleb Marchbank and Hugh Goddard might but both have previously been touted as Top 8 picks so are no certainties to last 'til 14 either.

My call is that it'll be a draft smokey, Nakia Cockatoo perhaps? We do need outside run and he definitely offers that.

I just hope that Picks 10-13 don't turn out to be 200 game stars and our pick ends up a dud - that would be a disaster.

Cockatoo is better than Garlett for mine. Plus I'd be worried about Garlett having the homesick factor.
