Ok yes Im mad but, with what we expect to get around pick 8-10. Is this enough to get Durdin and or, is there a better option? But in my opinion the 17yr old 197cm West Adelaide junior is just the man we want and need now!

Problem being that we are sitting 11th on the ladder and likely to have pick 8 with that or pick 10 for a 9th finish. So can the boy last till our pick?

Sam Durdan

A lot of water to go under the bridge between now and november, maybe he'll miss draft camp and you guys pull another Matt Crouch.

Nige

I think it's more than likely he'll be snapped up by another club before the Crows' first pick comes around.

However, should he still be there, I can't see them passing him up.

With Brisbane, Carlton and Saints seeking tall forwards may be a struggle depending how the cards fall. Will be surprised if these three clubs pass on tall forwards with first pick. McCartin, Wright, Durdin meethg the criteria and depenfs where Goddard sits as well. From a Brisbane perspective if I was the recruiter my order would be McCartin, Durdin, Goddard, Wright. A lopt of water to go downstream though before November.

Nige

I'd have Wright before Durdin and Goddard.

Durdin would be perfect for the crows and will add very good height to the team i believe he should be a priority but there are many other good players that i have heard about in this upcoming draft so whatever player is capable of making a fast impact onto the team in 2015. It would be especially good if we can pick up a highly rated defender wouldnt mind another Talia or Truck in the team.

Ringo

Can see it going like this unless something drastically changes Saints will take McCartin, Brisbane will take Wright or Durdin and Blues will probably take the other.  Lot of water to go under the bridge and targets may change as well. Brisbane may change tact with McStay really showing something up front.

Don't worry, if Brisbane pick him up he'll come home homesick after a few years :P

Well, atm we have NDP #8, hoping this is enough to steal the big lad ;D  Doubt he will fall but, had a poor Championships and just maybe he slips and provides us with the perfect player for our list ;D

Either way, I think we can nab one of Goddard or Durdin :D

Why would it be #9, how has the AFL screwed us this time?

Well we finished 10th, so we get 9.

18th = 1
17th = 2
16th = 3
15th = 4
14th = 5
13th = 6
12th = 7
11th = 8
10th = 9

Thought we finished 11th, oops :P

Haha fair mistake then. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this going to be our first top 10 pick since Danger? Not counting Davis since he left us...

Yes. Gee our history of top 10 pick has not been good in the past, Dangerfield by far the best. But the way it is now you just know we'll get a quality player, hopefully we can get Durdin, Hamilton (the Jarman's Nephew) and Caleb Daniel the small fritter with three picks :o

Not so sure I want to get a midfielder with the #9, got a few good kids already with Grigg, Crouch x 2, Kerridge and Lyons, plus some kids from last years draft. Really would love to get one of these talls on offer
