Already used one trade on Swallow-->Libba

Still have around 200k in the bank

If Hibberd is out, will either sideways him, or trade Langford to Grimes/premo
The latter would probably be my preferred option. Bews is my D8 who is probably gonna just rot there

Have Cox as R2, considering offloading him to Mummy or Jacobs. Especially if Hibberd plays

Zorko at F6 is annoying, at some point either he will be traded to Boomer, or, if I have the cash, upgrade Shenton to Boomer later on and keep Zorko as cover

My current team is:
DEF - McVeigh, Swallow, Birchall, Hibberd, Suckling, Bartel (Langford, Bews)
MID - Rocky, Ablett, Beams, Libba, JPK, Pendles, Redden, Barlow (C Beams, O'Rourke)
RUCK - Sandi, Cox (Thurlow, Currie)
FWD - Danger, Dusty, Lecca, Parker, Stefan, Zorko (Shenton, Cameron)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :)

Zorko should do okay this week, given that North don't really tag

and then it mainly depends if Hibberd gets up
if not: I would draw-trade and bring in someone like Adcock (scored 107 on North this year in Gastro-gate)/Grimes as D7 (for Langford)
if so: then I would trade Cox (given that he's being marginalised this season) for Lobbe/Jacobs/Mumford

I think it looks like Hibberd is gonna miss from what I've heard, so Langford-->Grimes is probably the most likely right now
Never really thought of Lobbe. Do you think he can continue to score as well as he has the last few weeks?

pommyadam

Given that I have Lobbe, I'd like him to :P
Personally, I like his consistency with only 2 scores below 80 this year
with the option of going huge - as he's shown over the last few weeks, and last year

I'm just throwing more names at you though, I don't really think you can go wrong with either option
Jacobs marginally has the more friendly draw though, as well as the history

Cheers mate. Starting to warm to Jacobs more after last year, and he seems to do a bit more work around the ground than other ruckmen, which is good for DT/AF scores

Obviously trades will ultimately depend on whether Hibberd plays or not. Thanks for the advice :)

Word is that Hibberd will be named, but will be last minute...I'd hang onto him though, if he misses just 1 week and averages over 90 odd for the rest of the year you'll have to burn another trade to get him back, and he's been one of the most consistent backs around.

Mr.Craig

Don't touch Grimes. Also wouldn't suggest looking at Lobbe this week as he has a woeful record vs Adelaide.

If Hibberd's out I'd straight swap him with Hanley (or Brodie Smith who towelled up Port for 123 last time out). Then at a later date look at replacing Suckling with Simpson or Mitchell when they've bottomed out.

If Hibberd is in I'd just go Cox-Jacobs, then the following week Zorko-Harvey.

Wouldn't bother having expensive bench cover until the finals. Best to get your starting 18 in optimal shape.

Generally I agree, but, I think this particular week there is a significant risk that Hibberd will be a late out.
