Simpson or bartel HELP

Ok i need to upgrade Langdon but to which guy Simpson or Bartel, my defence is:

Mcveigh, D Swallow, Hanley, Hibbard, Suckling

I can afford any defender who would be the best option. i think simpson will bounce back this week, or should i look at someone else.

Surely Bartel?? Look at last 3 v Simpson last 3?

You can still bring in Simpson (or SMitchell) for Suckling (Hibbard) in due course.

Yeah I did this a few weeks back and chose Bartel over Simpson 2mins before lockout as Bartel was wearing his long sleeves, haha!  Glad I did, Simpson will have another price drop this week so get him next week.

Simpson and bartel have both been unreal all year. That said, neither likes a hard tag too much.

Both should have a good end of season, with Bartels run easier than Simpson. But that also means that the ball will be coming down to the backline more for simpson to rebound. Who knows.

given that they'd both be leading DEF scorer, and their run ins (based on them scoring the averages)

Simpson: 875 points, 285 in DT finals
Bartel: 873 points, 278 in DT finals

bear in mind that Bartel may get a rest, given that Geelong may make finals, and it should be an easy Simpson win
BUT Simpson is in poor form, and is more likely to cop a tag

Bartel doesn't really attract much attention these days anyway, it's usually Jelwood/Stevie and then someone like Motlop before Jimmy. Simpson usually doesn't either but hopefully the weekend isn't a sign of things to come - imo Bartel is the pick of the two. He's an out and out gun and no one can rack it like junk time Jimmy. ;)

Also Simson was horrible because Murphy was out and he copped the tag.  With Murphy back and to some extent Judd Simpson should avoid, but I'd wait till his price drops and bring in Bartel now.
