On first look it seems like a silly question but I'm not so sure. I'm considering very strongly to play Martin over Sandilands who goes up against Cox and natanui and Martin the giant killer is up against goldy. I'm also considering playing miles over jelwood as jelwood has been fairly average and miles has been killing it. Any thoughts?

Interesting idea, is there any way you could have Martin as F6, or is ur FWD line already finished with premos?

Firstly, I couldn't consider playing Miles over Jelwood. If you do this, you might as well downgrade Jelwood to a Jack Martin or similar.

Secondly, I think you got your first scenario the wrong way around.

Cox avg 88
Sandilands avg 94

Cox average v Freo 68 from last 3
Sandilands average v Eagles 82 from last 2

Cox last 3 87
Sandilands last 3 98

Cox last 3 actual games (in reverse order)
Not selected, late out, 68
Sandilands last 3 actual games (in reverse)
90, 80, 123.

If you were going to do your plan, wouldn't you rest Cox instead of Sandilands?

Personally, last week, I bit the bullet and downgraded Cox to S.Martin. If S.Martin spuds it up, at least I have his 113 in the bank, and he'll have made enough cash I can upgrade easily enough to Mumford/Jacobs/Similar.

his debate is Sandi vs Martin

looking at the numbers:
the ONLY Ruckman to have past 90 this season vs WC was Sandi back in rd7 (i think) when he scored 111
Ruckman have a last 5 average of 90 against Goldy

logic says to play Martin over Sandi
but, will Martin continue to score this well (probably an 85 this week, being cautious with the impact of BBrown)
or will Sandi do as he did earlier in the season and belt out another 110?

personally, flip a coin, but if you could squeeze Martin in as F6, then that'd probably be the best option

Ok thanks for all the help. I have brought in Brown to be able to DPP Martin who makes it to F6 with McGovern as cover on the bench.

2nd issue I'm still thinking Miles is going to piss all over the saints this week. Only reason jelwood hasn't been traded is because I've had more important issues to fix.
