So because i'm going for the overall prize and im in the top 500 but still got a lot of catching up to do im considering putting it all on the line with one or two picks for one or two weeks for a point of difference. I did it last year with craig bird and david myers and it worked well when they were playing the easier teams but i left them in after that and it cost me. So if i do get a player in i will be sure to trade them out after their period has elapsed.

player no. 1:
Ricky petterd (for two weeks only): im not a fan of him at all but has shown that he can score well. The upcoming weeks he has st kilda and brisbane two teams that have shown to give up a lot of points. He has actually been playing a very dt firendly role lately as he has been spending large portions of his game on the ball. He supposedly tagged kennedy on the weekend but it was hardly a tag. My only issue is that if dan jackson comes back he might play a different role but he scored well against freo and having a look at his scores against north and swans he was over 50 in the first half when his team was firing but then stopped after they started getting beat. I would expect the tigers to run the game out against saints and lions so he might be a chance to get to the ton.

I will only do this trade if hibberd doesn't come up but it's definately someone worth looking at as he seems to be in not many teams and for good reason. After the two weeks i will either go back to hibberd or bring in sam mitchell again.

Thoughts??

If you are going for a Richmond player get Miles for sure if you don't have him.  Looking incredibly comfortable out there, kicks gaosl and has pumped out a bigger score each week and no one pays him any attention.  A lot of ppl have in at M9, but flower it, make him M8!

Woops sorry.

How about Lynden Dunn? Just over 400K, has recorded the most kicks to himself from the goal square kicking out.  Scores of 94, 94, 124 and 74 in the last 4 weeks.

So far I'm looking at Murphy to Redden. Good price, proven scorer and in some great form. Only one score below 88 for the year too.

Any decent looking new Back DPPs for next week?

Good Midfield smokies would be Greenwood, Prestia, Sidebottom

My mate at work is currently ranked 2nd so would go similar to his team haha
Wish I did from round 1

Petterd's actually a reasonable option, looks relatively good for an 80 (which is gold for a def) with the option of scoring 110+ on ocassion

Is too awkwardly price to bring in though, he's basically at peak price, and there's better options at his price point

dirkdiggler

yeah gone Miles to M8 as well....gave Jelwood the flick

How about some fwd smokies? I'm thinking lecras, petrie or Robinson...

pommyadam

LeCras is getting more mid time with Scooter out of the side, which is doing his scoring some good
Mayne also scored pretty well last week (agains the Lions though) and was a premo fwd last year
Petrie starting to show flashes, and goes up against Brisbane this week, so should be a reasonable score
Never been totally convinced on Robbo, he's gone backwards under Malthouse

both Mayne and Petrie are on my 2015 watchlist, both should start scoring well again, and have had poor years so far

i think it will all depend on richmonds line up. if jackson gets named and thomas still in the team then no. but if thomas gets dropped and jackson isn't back then maybe.

fwd smokie might be tom lynch in a few weeks.

Yeah I like Robbo and Lecca.
Robbo has been great lately and LeCras has been good this year.
About Petterd, if he continues to play in the mids, he's worth the punt.

Well it's a good thing hibberd played because petterd is the sub. If hibberd was a late out I reckon I would have got on.
