But he stayed on 112
What defines a tackle in DT? Cause he wrapped both guys up although they got the ball out

Tackles only count if they cause a stoppage. So that's why they didn't count.

Tackles count if they effect disposal

[Scrads]

Tackles count if they result in:

HTB (obv)
Ball-up
Affected disposal (a bit subjective, but usually if the ball gets to a team-mate or it is a long kick forward the tackle isn't rewarded)
Incorrect disposal (even if not paid HTB or throw by the umpire)
