Seriously stumped with this bloke.

So cheap at $400k and has a BE of 15 and projected to go up by $33k with a score of 90.

Is he back??

A few scores of 100+ but also a few stinkers. Will he be given a tagging role?

Tossing up him or Oliver. Down to only 13 trades and the extra cash will come in handy!

Any intel or advice appreciated!

LOL GGF!  ;D

Ha - no need to be like that.

Can understand though as due to caranage a lot of people have 8 trades or less. I have 5  :-[

Holz

I got 3 and just brough in Rocky.

if i had 13 trades left id jump on Oliver and start trading harder.

thats why i have only 3 trades though

I think Jroo is a good pick up
Would rather play a rookie instead of trading in this pie fwd
I reckon you would have to be carrying a pretty dodgy M8/F6 for Riewoldt to be worth it. Rarely goes big and only has 2 scores over 101
Bit of Pie bias i think
Clutching at straws Holz

JJK was a similar price and he would have been a better pick

non starting quality bench cover

135 average so far. Playing as the fwd for the #1 team in the comp and priced less then some rookies.

Loving it

RaisyDaisy

Going with 1 game averages now huh?

Played the absolute game of his life, and only got 135

Enjoy the upcoming meh scores

He's a decent bench option, but the actually trade required to use is what I had issue with - someone like Fritsch will score just as much if not more and won't require the use of a trade

1. Thats assuming you have fritsch
2. That doesn't take into account the 80k you can pocket to use elsewhere
3. Id back Jroo to beat Fritsch.

anyway lets just see how this pans out. Just needs to average 79 for the rest of the year to pump out a 85+ average for me which is pretty good for his price.

Rocky looking like a equally decent pick but the difference is he cant cover your fwd line and the gap between him and a mid premo is larger.

both Rocky and Jroo still decent pick ups

Polec out and Wines injured.

Sir Tom “the GOAT” Rockliff will go 120 until round 3 before missing 1-2 weeks with an injury which actually turns into 3 weeks.

How about Rocky's first month of last season (52, 33, 78, 43) he then missed two games before coming back and going 127 and 106 before his bye.

Excluding that first month he went at an average of 92 last season. Provided he gets a full preseason under his belt and he shows he clearly has a role that a) isn't deep fwd and b) isn't exclusively negative I could see him pushing 100 again in 2019.

This sounds deadly accurate

What would he need to average to be a legit stepping stone? If we're looking at all the mids his price and under, he is unquestionably the best scoring mid of the lot. Last year was doomed from the start with the way he hobbled into the season. It was his worst average since his first where he averaged a whopping 12 in one game.

2011-2017 his lowest average was 96.3 (which was with him trying to play through a screwed shoulder). The other year that he averaged 97ish he played mostly forward and still popped out a few monsters including 163 and 140 in rounds 4 and 5. If we're looking at it from a perspective of risk vs reward I think he is 100% worth the extra 80k over someone like Hanners, 60k over Miles and the 100k over Libba.

4 tons in 18 games is shizen, then taking into account his 1 ton in the last 12 games of 2017 you are operating at a pathetic 17%. Then factor in his injury record & it's obvious burn man material. Think Hanners is in a similar boat but is at least cheap enough to make you a quick 100k.

I believe its doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result.

Is it even worth looking back? Things are different now, different team different circumstances different opportunities with an actual preseason under his belt. Excite.
