Trading Kelly to Rocky hurts.. when will I learn!

I traded Kelly to Rocky  and Guelfi to Boak.  Kelly scores 130, Guelfi scores 76   =  206
Rocky and Boak score a total of            102
So in all it costs me approx $220k, 2 trades and I lose lose 104 points
Definitely one of my finer weeks in SC. But in defence of Rocky, wasn't he given a tagging role on Mitchell early in the game ??

:'(

90% of people traded Kelly so don't beat yourself up over that, Rocky obviously the wrong pick but attempt to get him to M9. Certainly a better bet than Spargo etc. I think on the bright side he'll provide the odd loophole worthy score.

Rocky was sent to Mitchell late in the 3rd quarter, as Rockliff had had 1 disposal since quarter time.
Why they didn't put him forward and put Port's best player, Robbie, in the midfield... I have no clue.

Thought he went to him at the start of the 3rd Quarter. At least that is what the commentators said. They were praising his half on Mitchell

Oh, perhaps. I just noticed that Mitchell was very good at the start of the 3rd, and then gradually his influence was stopped by Rocky. Mitchell got 35 points in the 3rd, and like 2 in the 4th.

Yep, Rocky went to Mitchell in the 2nd half and held him to 7 possessions after he had 21 in the first half.

Feeling pretty good that I went the opposite to what most people did this week and grabbed Crouch instead

I can only blame myself... :'(

I still think he is a decent pick at his price, great for the byes and then you stick him at m9 and loophole him.

The reason why im probably not going to pick him up is i think there is a better cheaper loophole and that is Jack Reiwoldt.

Will be 330k, because of his injury and then poor score after the injury. Probably good for a solid 85 average which is great for a F7/M9 and then also plays plenty of early games and is a great loophole.

soo is Rocky he will have some good games and some bad games.

Jack's an interesting one, hadn't even crossed my mind.

Riewoldt's FWD only though.

yeah but he can cover both the fwd line and midfield regarldess.

So say you have him F7 and then you have Toby Mclean at F1.

If you swtich Mclean into the midfield then you play Jroo in his spot. That way Jroo really has covered you in the midfield even though its actually mclean who plays in the midfield.

Would rather play a rookie instead of trading in this pie fwd

I reckon you would have to be carrying a pretty dodgy M8/F6 for Riewoldt to be worth it. Rarely goes big and only has 2 scores over 101 with a high score of 115.

Would be handy cover for an injury, but you may as well just save the trade for when you actually get the injury.
