I want to pick Rocky, I really do, but trades are precious now and I don't want to bring him in only to have to trade him out or bench him later

I just glanced over his past 3-4 years and he has never played more than 8-9 games in a row

SC Beast, and I want his scoring, but I'm seriously considering passing and going with JPK or Bont instead

I'm in two minds about it  :'(
Didn't he play the last 12 in a row last year (with bye in between)? And then i think the year before was just the concussion and broken ribs (nothing to do with being injury prone).

130 average coming right up :P

RaisyDaisy

Don't really care what the reason is behind him missing games

History says he struggles to string 10+ games in a row for whatever reason

I want to pick him, but my gut feel says he'll miss eventually. I guess that what's Scooter at M9 is for right? :P

Just concerning that's all

PICCOLLO

He is a risk but with a big payout.
Has a pattern of getting injured mid season and coming home like a freight train if memory serves.
I'm not getting him yet because of price but I'm not ruling him out for later.

I really want rocky but i already have a stacked midfield in Sloane, Tichell, Bont, Fyfe, Kennedy, Treloar, Jelwood, Danger and don't really want to sideways fyfe

Only 7% ownership and could be the difference over the next month. Definitely worth it.

Same dilemma. I can get him via Sandi but I'll have Fyfe at M9 and Scooter at M10. Slightly heavy. But with a BE of 55 he is going to be well over $600k next week and hard to see him dropping.

Thinking I might trade Fyfe next week (Freo bye) and bring in Docherty, leaving Scooter at M9. Effectively Sandi and Fyfe become Rocky and Docherty.

I'm asking myself, head to head, who would I want: Fyfe or Rocky. Based on current form you'd go Rocky every day of the week - he is a machine. BUT, will Fyfe pull his finger out and respond to the recent scrutiny? The clubs that were lining up to offer him a big pay check are probably getting cold feet so he may be motivated to fire up and perform? Would hate to trade him and then see him tear it up.

Hard to see his price heading south and him being cheaper. BE of 55 and playing at Gabba against Freo. Barring injury it's hard to see  him dropping below $600k

Comment from Fagans Presser:

CF: Last week his [Rockliff] shoulder wasn't quite right, this week it is.

So make out of this what you want. Does this explain why he played mainly outside last week and can look to more inside this week?

I hope Rocky is frothing at the mouth at the thought of playing Port this weekend after seeing what Essendon did to them.

If they play like they did against Freo I reckon they'll put up a good fight. Port are just a bunch of flogs anyway.

haha they've not beaten anyone in the top 8 and just flog the weaker teams. Hence their inflated percentage which Essendon took a nice chip out of last weekend  ;D
