Priced at $277,000. With a significant lack of defender rookies coming through with any form of job security and currently being stuck with Bews and Griffiths at D7/8. Is it a crazy idea to spend $20,000 to get Ellis in as D7?

Has a low BE again and injury aside has very solid job security.

i'm glad i kept hold of him through his injury, perfect D7 with E on him every week from here on in i reckon, not sure if i would spend the coin to bring him in though

Could be justified from Langdon (D7) to XEllis though?

I have him as D6 this week.

I have Griffiths ($251K) as my D7.... so hoping to go -Griffiths +Kelly/Swallow next week, and move XEllis to permanent D7 (E) just like colmullet.

Of course, this relies on Nick Roo not flowering up again, whereby XEllis may then be spared and stay as my D6 for another week longer.
