Ummm they swept the Pelicans, beat the Grizz 4-2 who were the 2nd best team for the majority of the year in the West, beat the Rockets 4-1 and beat the Cavs 4-2. Did you want them to sweep everybody? It isn't luck, they were the best team all year and would have smashed the Spurs and Clippers as well. You don't win 67 games getting lucky in a stacked conference.

they couldnt have done anymore than they did. Nothing against what they put up, just would have liked to have seen them actually get challenged.

Grizz were injured too.

just go through one of a fit Cavs, Clippers, Spurs, OKC and than ill applaud them.

Fact is their tough challenge was a slightly injured Memphis.

they don't make the finals next year.

Agree with this to some extent, they got good teams when they were ralatively crippled.  All of those teams had their starting PG's injured or hampered by injury, Curry got through easily and got to rest when needed keeping him fresh throughout.  Taking nothing away from their regular season as they proved themselves the best, but until they win another title with this cast and healthy competition this title has an asterix next to it for me like the 2 titles Houston won while MJ was on "holiday" and Spurs during the lockout season.

They were incredible in the regular season, not so in the playoffs but still managed to smoke everyone. Pretty impressive.

All this talk on Bron and still no respect given to one of the all time great seasons by the Warriors. They were a top 10 team of all time this year and finished it off with a ring. It wasn't luck, they were just that damn good
no argument here

greatest team of all time if they played in the east, probably wouldve had 75 wins :P

Oh God, thankfully they aren't in the East cos ppl would start actually comparing Curry to MJ.  ::)

Tbh their season reminds me of the 07-08 Celtics. Elite regular season, Warriors 67 wins, Celtics 66 wins. Celts had a +10.2 point differential, and the Warriors had a +10.1. But then both struggled a little bit in the playoffs, Celtics being forced to 7 in the first two rounds, and Warriors going down 2-1 to both Cleveland and Memphis.

Who do I think would win in a 7 game series? Rondo, Ray, Pierce, Garnett, Perkins vs Curry, Klay, Barnes, Green, Bogut.. It's tough! But probably a slight edge to Boston, I think their defense > GSW defense has a bigger gap over GSW's offense > Celtics' offense.. If that makes sense. Plus I think Boston having to go through prime LBJ, and then Kobe + Pau was a tougher road than the Warriors.

It's splitting hairs, but a fun comparison between 2 of the best teams of the last 10-20 years.

are you serious Jay?

im probably the biggest KG Pierce hater out there, so im being harsh by saying Celtics in 5.

I almost said sweep but i think GWS has a shot at stealing 1 game if they flly switched on.

GSW had a great season, but saying it was top 10 of all time is an obv stretch.

Yes but your Ray Allen love outweighs that surely :P Celtics in 7 for me. We'd need the three-ball to be falling though.

Would be interesting to see a breakdown of the top 10 teams of all-time. Something I might look into after my exams.

I reckon they beat GSW without Allen but probably in 6.

Garnett would just kill in the post and pierce prime is better than curry add in that rondo distributing the ball its all over.
