Cavs better get game 6 or theyll burn LeBron jerseys again ;D

Still here!!

Kinda feel bad for LBJ. Such a bad team yet is still in it. Only Jordan/Shaq couldve matched what LeBron has done at there.

You're back! Lol.

I think 08/09 LBJ on this team would definitely force a game 7, if not win it. But some of things he could do in his prime, he just can't do now. See: shooting 65-163 this series.

Not having a go at him for being inefficient, its the only option. But he's having to work a lot harder for his points than he did at his absolute peak.

Yeah for sure. That little drop is a big difference. Shooting was never his strong point so forcing him into jumpers is always going to be the right thing to do. With Irving and Ol mate gone there rnt any shooters left. Still think if they got a big defensive centre who isnt useless, they would  walk to a ring.

You're underselling Moz a lot.  He did just have a career high 28 and was the second best rim protector in this playoffs coming into the series.  Behind guess who?  Bogut.

Andrew3737

Variance. Moz still sucks

So this is what Jay was talking about ::)

I thought it'd at least be slightly intellectual arguing.

Andrew3737

Do you actually want to get into it? Its pretty obvious he sucks and i can prove he sucks, but is it really worth it...

batt

I think I'll pass... and just stick to the SC forum lol.

Andrew3737

I don't bite. Just sayin. Mozzy sucks

Its pretty clear who the worst centre in this list is.

Kinda disagree. I think their defense has been really good this post-season and Mozgov allowing just 40.2% shooting at the rim has been a huge part of that. Might just be a matter of sample size though, was at 47.5% during the regular season - which still isn't terrible.

TT is shower at protecting the rim, but has good versatility. Does a decent job when switched onto a guard. They kinda need a combination of the two players on the defensive end.

As for Mozgov 'sucking', it depends what your goal posts are. If you're expecting him to be All NBA then obvs not, but I think he's an above average starting centre - which is still pretty valuable.

I am going to make this point before people try and argue this

You can say that Irving would make a difference with his offense and the fact Dell wouldn't be on the court so much, but don't even bother bringing up Love. You need to remember that the Cavs use of Kevin Love has been piss poor and he would make 0 difference in this series. They had him standing at the 3 point line all year to stretch the floor when he could be used to a greater effect on offense. Defensively he offers nothing so Mozgov/Thompson would probably be an improvement there but Love is a non-factor

Kyrie would help in the rotations but Curry would have destroyed him offensively. Maybe if he gets hot it forces Iggy over to him but Klay and Steph have been pretty great on the defensive side all year anyway.

Andrew3737

Thats the thing though. The difference between an all star defender and a good defender is the difference between a ring and not having one.

Agree with Matt and have said this (again) from the start of the season. Love was a shower signing and needed an all star defender.

I hope your talking about Steph killing him on offense if Irving was guarding. Irving can match or beat Curry on offense, its his defense that makes him the better player.

Currently I may add.

Irving lbl would have taken these guys out by now.

Andrew3737

Irving offense doesn't match Curry though.
