I'd lean towards saying Iverson is actually underrated.

That Philly team he led to the finals would have been in the lottery without him... And they even stole game 1 in LA :o

AFEV

AI easily atm though Westbrook is 26 and has a lot left to give.

Both are amazing players.  I don't really like either player to be honest but both are great players (I prob lean in the favour of AI).

I went with the political answer that AI was better, but Westbrook could be the better player when his career was over, didn't like that.  I went on to post all AI's achievements, stats and taking a woeful team to the finals on multiple occasions, nope, I sighed and gave up...  :-\

Holy shower, this was actually one of my comments!  And his return quote, "Lol underrated???????????? hahaahaha thanks for the laugh".  flower I hate this guy even more!

For me it depends on context

Is it who is better within a basketball team or

Who is better from an admiration stand point

Id want Westbrook on my team but not AI

However I respect the shower out of what a 6ft 160 pound man did in his career

AI lead a team to the finals with an old Mutombo as the only decent player on that team. His back court running mate was Eric freaking Snow. AI was insane that year and although he probably wouldn't have worked with another superstar he was a freak of nature in his prime.

Meanwhile Westbrook with a couple of pieces has kept OKC to what, a 500 record?

Please, AI every flowering day.

Also didn't have someone called Kevin Durant ;)

Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. The pieces Westbrook had without Durant are equal to or better than what AI had at Philly, and they haven't had nearly as good a record.

Hypothetically speaking if they both had the same teams and the same amount of shots Westbrook would outscore AI

Westbrook has so athletic advantages over defenders whereas AI had to adjust the angle of his shots to get them over defenders

I think thats pretty hard to argue.  I was suprised to know that AI made more FT's per game than Westbrook currently does over their career averages and thats huge!  AI had a better FG% than Westbrook too, so by those terms AI outscores Westbrook on the same team.

Not denying his talent. He's a pure freak.
Shame he was so lazy. If he had the right attitude who knows what he could've done.
AI might've been more talented but his attitude makes Westbrook is a better overall package.

Practice? Are we talking about practice?
