Westbrook to me is the best point guard in the league, so curry your good but westrbook is better.

Jay

Westbrook has been on fire lately but Curry is still having the slightly better season.

In a 7 game series though, I could see Westbrook dominating Steph - he has size that Curry just can't match and Russ is a monster defensively too.

Cookie Monster

Westbrook has played 10 games less than Curry.

But..

Westbrook -

25.9ppg
8.0apg
6.5rpg
.437fg%

Curry -
23.8ppg
7.9apg
4.6rpg
.483fg%

Yes. Curry has had a lot of help with Klay with him, but Westbrook has played the majority of this season without Durant and Ibaka has just started to come to form over the past month or so.

I can't split them, maybe only my bias ways would put Westbrook ahead.

Jay

I was factoring in that Curry has played almost every game for a team that's 44-10.

But you're right, numbers wise, it's a toss up.

Sorry i can see why you would react like that, Lebron is clearly the best point guard in the league but for this sake lets call him a SF.

In that case, Harden is the MVP hands down.

I think Curry is starting to fade a little bit.

Harden is Houston.
Westbrook is Oklahoma at the moment. The help in the Thunder is starting to come and i think they can now make a genuine run deep into the playoffs.

Harden and Westbrook keep playing at these rates without the players that are already out, Westbrook will win out of the two.

Team doesn't win enough tho. Can you have an MVP from a team that (probably) doesn't make playoffs?

Harden's my pick.

You're right, Riot. And I think it's a flaw in the system.

The best player should get the MVP award. How Kobe didn't win it in '06 still confuses me ???
