What a great play drawn up by Pop to get Marco an open 3.

CP3 comes right back with the dagger.

Houston have Brewer Ariza Jsmoove and now KJ, how many wings u want ???

The Lakers pick is top 5 protected this year so its unlikely it will be conveyed to Philly. Next year its only top 3 protected but I find it hard to believe that the Lakers will be awful again next season. Kobe coming back and they have plenty of cap space to go out and get a couple of free agents. They only have Kobe, Young, Randle and Kelly guaranteed for next season. With their top 5 pick and Houston's first round pick they have enough flexibility to either draft good young talent or trade for a superstar that may come available.

I think its reasonable to say the Lakers pick next year will be at about the #10 range. And Philly spent a #11 pick two years ago on MCW anyway - who went out and won rookie of the year. What more did they expect from a kid tossed into a terrible situation.

MCW has shown big strides on defense this season too, holding opposing PGs to a PER of 12.1 (league average is 15) and also the Philly defense is 8.8 points per 100 possessions better with MCW on the floor.

Philly have set themselves back another couple of years this trade deadline. And for what, you ask? A centre rich draft, a position where they have spent their last two first round picks!

MCW was a good defender last year and it was mostly due to his length. He hasn't exactly been developing his offensive game at all. He is still a terrible shooter and he has a high turnover ratio for a PG which is a big no no. With Mudiay probably being a top 3 pick in this draft the 6'ers want him pretty bad. Even if they do go another way with their first pick, PG's are a dime a dozen, even as rookie of the year they feel they can get better there with someone else while getting a high first round pick in return for him.

now ur only PG is now Patrick Beverly, what if he go down? 4 wings? probably Harden runs point basically anyways

Mat0369

Harden is basically the PG on that team with the letters SG next to his name. It is a reason OKC have struggled with bench play since he left, he was the leader of the second unit

Wade Bosh n Whiteside have played 80 minutes total together, only worry is 30 games may be to few to develop chemistry...

Can't work out which is worse, trading the pick that turned into Lillard for Wallace and then giving him a huge contract, or trading 3 unprotected first round picks + more for one season of Pierce and the corpse of KG/Thad Young.

Almost comes close to the Harden trade...  :-X

Mat0369

You know who pulled off the Harden trade?

;D

funny thing is if u show this equation to those responsible, they would smash the device u showed them on... hindsight 1 now 0
