Yeah will depend on how much others r offering really, our offer isn't the best out there id imagine

RiOtChEsS

I think its gonna take a 3 team deal for him to land in NY, LA or Miami, the only way it does not is...

Knicks could offer Calderon, not much else

LA could offer Lin, not much else

Heat offer isnt attractive either from a Suns perspective, unless it was Deng, Deng for Dragic and Plumlee or Dragic and Len works, Wright's contract is too large, i think the Suns want a strong wing, they free up Thomas and Bledsoe to play together with Dragic leaving, Gerald Green and PJ Tucker arent top notch wings, Morris brothers at the 4, Len and Wright at the 5, or Plumlee and Wright at the 5

RiOtChEsS

worth noting that The Hornets have been hanging to ditch Lance and Dragic for him straight up works :-\

Does Lance even have trade value at this point ???

I dont see Dragic going to a Cavs, Heat type team.  He has stated he wants a team to be built around him (sorta like Curry at GSW).  He wont get that there... Knicks or Lakers appear to be the team that can provide that for him.

I don't think Dragic is good enough to be making those kind of calls.

Agreed. He's a really good player but if he's your #1, you aren't making it out of the first round in the west...

which is why he needs to go East, again though, looking at Calderon, Stephenson, and Deng imo

Hornets could be the team, they want Lance off their books and get Dragic for half a season :-\

Miami open to trading Cole. Trying to attach Granger to any deal.

Bulls going hard after a PG to pair with Knight. Lawson and IT's names have come up.

QuoteThe Phoenix Suns are operating under the belief that guard Goran Dragic could be persuaded to accept a five-year contract elsewhere, thus are pursuing trades with asset-rich teams outside of his preferred list of destinations, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

For Dragic, the Suns are pursuing packages that include a young player with significant potential and a first-round draft pick or two first-round picks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

The Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings have been initially aggressive in talks to obtain Dragic, who will be a free agent in July. Suns general manager Ryan McDonough seems determined to find a team willing to gamble on the ability to offer Dragic the most years and guaranteed money in July free agency, league sources said.
Like the Suns, any team that trades for him can offer Dragic, 28, a five-year, $100 million-plus contract extension.

After informing the Suns that Dragic wouldn’t sign an extension this summer, agent Bill Duffy delivered McDonough and management a list of preferred trade destinations that includes the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heat, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

The Knicks and Lakers don’t have the packages of players, draft picks available, or the motivation to make a competitive offer for Dragic, knowing that they have the salary-cap space to sign him to a four-year, $80 million deal this summer.

The Suns have until 3 p.m. ET at Thursday’s trade deadline to make a deal, or risk losing Dragic without compensation this summer.

Until Tuesday night, the Suns had been given hope that moving guard Isaiah Thomas would make Dragic more comfortable with re-signing, but it became clear in a meeting with management that he no longer wants to share a backcourt with Thomas and Eric Bledsoe, league sources said. Dragic has wavered on his feelings toward a future in Phoenix through the weekend, sources said, but ultimately decided that clearing out Thomas in a trade wouldn’t be enough to appease him.

For now, Dragic has decided he wants the ball in his hands, and the offense flowing through him, something that can’t always happen with Bledsoe sharing the backcourt with him.

The Suns committed a five-year, $80 million contract extension to Bledsoe this summer.

Dragic is averaging 16.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds this season.

Ty Lawson skipped practice today and now the Nuggets are actively trying to move him. Boston and LA are interested, among other teams.

Lakers apparently desperate to get either Lawson or Dragic.

Jay

Pacers open to trading Roy Hibbert. Teams reluctant to pay a big price as he can opt out and hit unrestricted free agency.

Jay

Everyone other than Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh & Hassan Whiteside available from the Heat, a source said.

as a Suns fan this is all very interesting ... knew they were hoping to keep him at the start of the season but the 3 PG experiment hasn't quite worked and it shows in his numbers differential from last year ... as well as the Suns defensive ratings when all of Beldsoe, Thomas and Dragic are on the floor ...

smart by his agent to leave it until the death knell of the trade deadline to give a list of preferred destinations!  ::)   :P   :-X
but also Suns management would/should have known that this was always a possibility and should have some scenarios/back-up plans in train ... ;)

Suns won't deal Len (pick #5 2013) but Plumlee they'd be open to pairing with Dragic for Deng i'd imagine

agree x3

like Amare' before him, Dragic is quality but he's not a max player or even with a young team last season, they would've made the play-offs (with or without Bledsoe as running mate) ... will be sad to see him go but at his age Suns were never going to give him a max contract ... the experience with Amare at NYK should have them weary once again!!!  :o   ;)

hope Phoenix can get something for Dragic ...  :-\     ;)
