Could technically add Harden to that list - seeing as he has the ball in his hands as much as a PG does ;)

Yep D-will has no trade value anymore. That contract is huge.

Exactly why I would want Plumlee in the deal.  He is also only in his 2nd year of 4 year rookie contract.
I would take D-Will's sh*tty contract just to get my hands on Plumlee if I was Sac-town ...  :o    ;)

But ... can he play next to DMC??   ;)

I forgot about Lawson because he is always missing games for a horrible Nuggets team. I didn't include DRose because I see them as equal around now even though Rose has missed the last two seasons. Big name guys that were relevant a couple of seasons ago but have almost been irrelevant since

Jay

I'd almost have Bledsoe in there too.

Mat0369

I was going to lump Dragic/Bledsoe into one since it is a two PG line up and you can't really define either as the PG since both can play without the ball in their hand. Looking at the depth chart they probably have Dragic listed as the PG and Bledsoe the SG which is why I went Dragic.

Jay

Josh Smith released by Detroit.

I was sure that SVG would fix that place. Clearly not.

who do you think will pick him up?

you would assume a struggling team would take a punt on him despite the contract, the guy can play.

Sorry guys, D-Will is better than Rondo and Dragic.  Both very overated PG's, Dragic is better than Rondo though.  Rondo looked amazing when he first started due to having 3 of the best jump shooters going around at their prime in PP, Allen and Garnett, the world was shown how that made him look way better than he is when those guys jumped ship.  Guy can't shoot to save his life, if you watch his highlights when playing with the big 3, most of his passes were basic hand off passes that ended in jump shots, if you're a good PG you get even the worst players good shots and he's shown he couldn't do that in Boston as a leader, just sooked and played as little as he could.  D-Will was top 2 back in the day with CP3 and only injuries have set him back.  He is a BIG upgrade over Collison.

Jay

Yep I think Houston will land J-Smoove. Kings a darkhorse, they're pretty desperate and have had interest in him recently.

Dragic was All-NBA 3rd team last year, you have to put him above D-Will - he hasn't been on any All-NBA team since 2010. Dragic was elite last season, had a PER of 21.4 compared to D-Will with 17.6. Dragic accounted for 10.3 win shares compared to D-Will's 5.4. Have a look, Dragic dominated him in almost every category. http://bkref.com/tiny/UsYcc
Granted, D-Will is having a better year this year than last and Dragic has regressed but I'd still give Dragic the edge. http://bkref.com/tiny/rKc76

Rondo is the interesting one. Hasn't played more than half the games in a season since 2011/2012. Rondo took a discount on his last contract and therefore hasn't been playing as hard to not injure himself for his next contract. I think you'll see the best Rondo since 2012 playoffs now he actually has something to play for. I take his last 54 games as a Celtic with a grain of salt - the team has been rebuilding. We've all seen what he can do... The last time he was in the playoffs, he averaged 17.3 points, 11.9 assists, 6.7 rebounds and 2.4 steals. D-Will hasn't put up those kinda numbers in a long time.

But yeah, D-Will is an upgrade talent-wise over Collison.

If we need to lose DC (and Thompson/Landry/Williams) to get Deron and Smith then I can live with that.

Nets and Kings talk appear to be over.  Kings were actually after Plumlee and with the Nets not wanting to move him the rest of the deal is off.

Jay

Dame Lillard is insane. On fire in this OKC game.

Jay

Holy flower Lillard.

8 threes.

Mat0369

His Spurs game was ridiculous as well. If he keeps it up he seriously has to be in the talks for the best PG in the league
