I would be pissed if I am Wade and Haslem. They aren't getting the money they opted out of anywhere EVER. The reason they did that was to keep Bron Bron. Granger and McRoberts also signed in hope of playing on a contender with James and they have also been screwed to an extent. The funniest part of all this, Houston dealing Lin and the 1st to the Lakers in hopes of getting Bosh Spice and getting stiffed by Bosh for a second time. They now have to potentially match the Parsons offer sheet and now have cap space but no assets worth trading.

Oh and all the bandwagon Heat fans are now bandwagon Cavs fans

I give this whole post a big +1

Wade got flowered up.

Vince Carter agrees to a deal with Memphis.

OKC should look at bringing in as many white guys that sit on the perimeter and shoot 3's as possible. They need some guys that can spread the scoring load and stretch the D out. This is something they have been severely lacking since they traded Harden.

Very happy with the news never liked the heat

Irving love and James my 3 favorite players so pretty stoked if they team up.

Think they might need to give Wiggins Bennett for love but that's ok.

Irving waiters James love varejo with Allen 6 man and TT.

To me that's stronger than this years heat.
Minnesota suddenly have some leverage in Love trade talks. They'll want Wiggins for sure and then probably 2 of Waiters, Bennett, TT imo.

I'm still not buying that Irving + Waiters works and between Love and often inured, Varejao.. There isn't much defense in the paint.

That team won't win it this year. Not even close to good enough to challenge San Antonio.

I think Wiggins and waiters for love if they can do it is ideal, I agree Irving waiters just doesn't work.

Tristan Thompson is a good player and while yes the defense won't be good but with love varejo Thompson they should easily be able to win the boards which Miami lacked. Bennett showed signs of a player.

I wouldn't start like this but at some stage of the game I would like to see a lineup of

LeBron pg
Irving sg
Bennett Sf
Love Pf
Varejo/TT C

They're too cheap to go after any free agents, lol.

White guys that stand at the perimeter don't cost much, that's why they should go after them

Could've built a dynasty by only going a little bit into the luxury tax, instead they trade James Harden for a packet of chips.

I don't have much faith in their front office.

Well they aren't. Everyone has at Miami knows that they would't have made the finals four consecutive seasons without LeBron (and he brought Bosh, Allen etc too).

Wade and Haslem can always sign new contracts anyway. They'll be playing on crap team so I'm sure they'll get a reasonable deal. Granger has signed but I don't think McRob's contract is confirmed yet. Besides, the Heat are an upgrade compared to Charlotte.

Huh?

Sure they wouldn't have made four consecutive finals without LeBron, but he couldn't have won without Wade or Bosh either. He won 2, he lost 2 and now he's going back home. I think he'll be in for a rude shock when he realises the team is actually shower.

Wade and Haslem won't get nearly as much as they would have got had they not opted out.

LeBron back to Cleveland... Predicted that after the last loss interview, LeBetards article had me believing otherwise, good luck to him, handled it much better this time, glad we signed Bosh or we would be a complete basket case again, keen to see how we retool around him

Well he couldn't have handled it much worse :P

Is it crazy for me to think Miami might try and convince Melo to go there even with LeBron gone?  :-X

*the Heat

"he couldn't have won without Wade or Bosh either". Yeah so? What's that got to do with anything. LeBron is clearly happy with his time and success at the Heat. Not sure you understand what I am saying (same with my past few posts).

If you read LeBron's article he clearly expects a challenge at the Cavs.

Mat0369

Q, Wade has just lost out big time, he gave up 41.8 million in GUARANTEED money by opting out. Do you think he is going to get that now? Yeah he can sign a new contract but he ain't making 41.8 million. He did that to try and get Bron back, if I am Wade I sure as hell would be pissed.
