agree Sid, not sure they can block it being it would be a signing... #Interesting

Master Q

Melo joining LeBron would just be... boring?

He'd be taking the easy way out. Go and get your own team Melo (that's better than New York)

Imagine the uproar if Melo tried to go to Miami and the league blocked it.

Everyone would be all, 'they're conspiring against LeBron'.
Its ridiculous though. It's just like MJ having Pippen and Rodman then going after another top 5 player ::) it just isn't right...

Superstars should want to compete against each other!!

its that kind of era, players r all friends or "friends", he may not, if he doesnt i dont think he really wants to win tho 4 str8 ECF

I like what Rondo said on Numbers Never Lie the other days about having a big three is enough to contend and that stars should want to play against other stars.
I'll try and find the quote.

It pretty much sums up my thoughts. Having 4 players of that calibre is just ridiculous imo.

agree to a point, doesnt make Miami better, not a Melo fan, stagnates everything offensively n does nothing defensively to help

I think Miami isn't a great fit for him, but he's still a superstar and is bound to improve their offense. It also helps take the load off LeBron which was obviously a problem in the finals.

I'm a Melo guy, think he's big time but it has to be in the right system. Like if he went to Chicago, I think he could be an MVP candidate  :-X

he is a "give the ball to me get out of the way" guy, showerhouse for "TEAM" look at how SA swung the ball, even Miami looked stagnant in comparison, n we arent a stagnant team, pretty good at finding the best shot...

Miami r better off taking less but getting better players that suit the system

Yeah but he's bloody good at it. Most isolation points per game iirc. Its all about the system, he can be a very effective player. Spurs everyone can pass, everyone can score, everyone can shoot which is why they beat Miami. But a defensive team lacking that depth would be a great fit for Melo where he can just do what he does best and get buckets. In the finals Miami were stagnant imo, Bosh barely touched the ball and he's your no.2 scorer... LeBron looked tired in the finals, and we need not even talk about Wade. Getting Melo would take a huge load off offensively.

I think Lowry would be a great fit in Miami, but not sure how much wiggle room they have to sign him.

yeah im not sure either, wouldnt be much with the snowballing contracts...

Wade is the guy we need to move as hard as that is to say...

If Wade stays tho we need to address a 2 spots in particular, gonna require some luck if nobody is taking a pay cut

Wade isn't going anywhere. Too much $$$ on his contract to trade, and he's not opting out because he'll get much less on the open market.

If nobody takes a pay cut then Miami are in serious trouble. They'll have little to no flexibility...

If Wade doesnt opt out he may not get LeBron back, im not ruling anything out atm, that is honestly what im thinking tho, LeBron aint about to waste his time with a dude past his prime playing 50 games a year, he will go back to Cleveland before signing on with the exact same team n no cap flexibility, if it was a close series maybe, but that was a blowout and signified without shadow of a doubt changes need to happen, dropping James Jones n signing Brian Scalabrine aint gonna cut it :-X

Not really.
I'm pretty sure aside from the big 3 their books are clean for next year? Their supporting cast should be totally different to what we saw this year, even if the big 3 is the same.

I might be wrong but I remember reading that somewhere..

only about 10mill free and 10 or so roster spots to fill

I just don't see Wade taking a pay cut unless its for a big name player. LeBron can't change teams again, he's already done that 'Decision' bullshower once, moving again will damage is legacy and he cares a lot about that. I give Cleveland no chance of happening. You'd be insane to turn down South Beach for Cleveland.

Meanwhile in an alternate universe, Serge didn't get injured and the OKC end up beating the Spurs. Only to come up against LeBron, and right now Miami are celebrating their threepeat. Next year the Spurs wont have that 'revenge' motivation driving them and OKC will be better too... We've already seen how Miami can dominate OKC. Everyone's acting like Miami got knocked out in the first round, lol. They actually lost in the finals to one of the GOAT teams ;)

They only have Norris Cole guaranteed to come back with Haslem and Birdman holding player options. Big 3 chew up a helluva lot though, and the owner didn't exactly dig into his pockets to improve the team last season. They have very little in terms of picks and will have to rely on vets to sign for much less than they could get elsewhere (likely).
