w0w Valk they r some sucky contracts :o

Why do you think the WHOLE CITY REJOICED when the Maloofs finally sold.  Surely they have to be the worst owners in the history of the NBA.
You're forgetting someone...

As much as Sterling is a giant douche he was actually a good owner.  The Maloofs held off deals for a new stadium amd nearly sold the team to Seattle.  It took the Mayor (ex NBA player Kevin Johnson) and Vivek Ranadive (new owner) to get the Maloof's to sell to Vivek and keep the team in Seattle.

Since owning the team they have gone out and got players.  Some good (Gay), some bad (Williams) but they are making change.  They have also go the stadium deal up and running, which is including a whole shopping precinct as well to create new jobs for the City of Sacramento.

Sterling was showerhouse thru his first 25 years ;)

Maloofs definitely gave up after the 2-3 year push with Webber in the naughties

Its not like having LA in the finals instead of Sacremento would've made the league any extra money, right...  ::)

Bron Bron just opted out. That's not to say he doesn't sign again with the Heat, but he is a FA

Think they all will tbh, either reshaping contracts to get more talent, or 1 of them shipping out

Kings interested in Josh Smith

Basically looks like Jason Thompson and/or Derrick Williams/Jason Terry/Carl Landry.  Rondo and J-Smoove are buddies, maybe this is the Kings posturing to make a move for Rondo
