You're all n00bs at 2k.
I won a championship with Kendrick Perkins playing 48 minutes at the point.

If you come on chat I'm doing it again tonight, with PGs!

(for those who don't know, I did an assoc./myGM with only Centres, KP was my point guard during a 1 title 3 finals dynasty run.)

Nerlens Noel: 'I think (Embiid and I) will be a really good tandem, kind of like Duncan and Robinson.'

lol.

who knows, I would put embiid above noel though.
is he aware that Robinson and Duncan had range beyond 8ft, Noel cant shoot for shower :P

While this is true, good luck scoring inside in years to come

Im not worried about two rookies that arent even healthy...

RiOtChEsS

This guy is like one of those sloppy showers that no combination of toilet duck and toilet brush can make go away ::)

Hence years to come. Embiid won't play this season with the navicular, but in 3 years when Saric is over and they are rotating Embiid, Noel and Saric on the inside that is going to cause a ton of problems.

If, "if" ever turns into reality it could be impressive, but if sportsbet were offering odds on "if" they would be long......................

The question on Noel was always going to be his offensive game, not his defensive side. He should be a good defensive player in the NBA, it doesn't mean he will be a superstar, but he can be a defensive difference maker. Embiid has been labelled one of the best prospects to come out in years. He has been labelled the next Hakeem, his question is his body which hasn't held up well the last 12 months and he had some issues in HS. Part of it could be due to growing into his frame, part of it could be that he is just injury prone and won't ever see the court. Hinkie is a mad man but brilliant at what he does, the 6'ers would have had an extensive look at his injury history, if they figured he wouldn't hold up, they would have passed. The potential of this duo is scary

RiOtChEsS

I don't question the potential, i question two injured big men in two straight drafts, both were serious injuries, i dont like the double risk and im not a 76's fan, one of the two but not both, some players r just injured regularly, its fraught with danger, i can see why ur looking to the future and i hope these guys become great players.

Had Embiid not injured his navicular, Wiggins would likely have gone at pick 3. They had to go Embiid. You aren't taking Exum at 3, only 3 players in this draft had superstar potential, they were Embiid, Parker and Wiggins. Before the foot injury Embiid was the lock at 1, you are a rebuilding team who is not looking to be in contention for 2-3 seasons, you take him and sit him while tanking again the next year, it is a risk you have to take as a franchise in a superstar driven league. You have arguably got the two best players from last seasons draft in MCW and Noel, you now add Embiid and Saric the future is bright. While Noel had the ACL injury, they sat him all of last year to make sure he was good to go this season, it shouldn't be an issue. Again, I think the question marks with Noel is his ability to develop any sort of offensive game compared to if his body will hold up. He is 100% and ready to go, he is a skinny kid, he doesn't carry much weight on his frame which would help the recovery, but he still needs to bulk up and develop a bit more muscle/strength.
