Simply because in my opinion, they have the best player in the world.
Still behind Lebron and a healthy KD IMO, but he's definitely set to be the best in the world in the near future.

Good point, I didn't consider KD just because he hasn't been healthy all season. LeBron is clearly still elite but he has declined slightly over the last two seasons. I just don't see anyone who impacts a game as much as AD does on both ends of the floor :o

Celts looking really good early in this must win game. Detroit have been playing some decent ball lately too.

Isaiah looks like the best player on the court so far.

Isaiah has 21 points on 7 shots. Such an efficient scorer.

It seems like almost every starting point guard in the league would average 20 and 5 on a team where they're the dominant scorer.

Lot of really good offensive point guards in the league at the moment. Isaiah is one of the few who does it with high efficiency. Finished with 34 points on 17 shots today. For a 5'9 guy, the fact he gets to the line as often as he does, it's pretty impressive (10 from 11 at the line tonight).

With the Brooklyn loss, we're up into the 7th seed 8)

They can still pick him up in FA  :P

He was on a one year deal and was going to command more then what he is worth due to his crazy shot blocking skills.

What would have been wrong with Philly overpaying him? It's not like they're using the rest of their salary cap yet anyway..
